Who leaves the country after an assault if they are innocent… Utter BS from the moment you flee…

The CCRC needs to be dismantled. Its one calamity after another. They sat on evidence that kept Andrew Malkinson locked up for a further 8 years, knowing he was innocent. They need to go.

I think that the prosecuting officer who gets it wrong and responsible for jailing an innocent person should be accountable and finish the sentence in place of the victim.

It's bad enough being banged up for a crime you commit but to be banged up for something you didn't do must be double or treble time.

Wow , 13 years of a wasted life. Totally unacceptable when it’s clear that the evidence was wrong and the main witness was drunk. Not accountable to relay evidence 7 years later. Impossible.

Horrific!

that old version of stacy solomon with that voice really makes my head hurt

I certainly couldn’t have voted guilty on that flimsy evidence. Everyone wants the victim and his family to have some form of justice but it has to be the right person

I don't understand why Jason has chased Robert Darby, that really don't look good. Although that isnt enough to charge him of murder. You can bet your bottom dollar, the Darby family has got the information of who killed their brother from Darby mate, who told police he was asleep.

The system is just messed up he doesn't have a warrant or anything with police not even a suspect or they would of tried to find him then charge him with murder after 7 years only because he came to them, they just want to close the case and not get the real perpetrator even the witness deals where wrong the system is a failure not only to the victim but the accused aswell

What a joke

@richardlock5839 4 days ago

How could the jury convict him on such flimsy evidence - you can only do this if you have no doubt he did it but there is so much doubt that questions how these people came to this decision. The witness was useless and his barrister should have pulled this apart originally in court. Absolute fiasco really
