Sleepiing dogs is easily as S tier for me and also on power with any GTA game upto GTA 4. The characters, missions, gameplay and the DLCs evrything is so good. Even the open world feels alive. The hong kong depiction in the game is great. Wei Shen is goated 🖤

Not every open world action game is a ”gta clone”

features that were in mafia 2 are being added to gta 6 decades later

Watch Dogs 2 has been the only game (apart from GTA 6) that I've waited with pure excitement that also didn't disappoint at all in the last decade. I've played it several times over the years and it is just so good. Mafia Trilogy (particularly 1 and 2) and Watch Dogs 2 are the only games that I play apart from GTA that feel like GTA by design. They just hit different.

Sleeping Dogs in B is just a wrong opinion at this point.

Calling most of these games gta clone is just painful

In what world is Just Cause 2 a" GTA Clone"🤦‍♂️🤣

Can we change the word ''gta clone'' to ''gta like'' finally? I mean in general.

Edit: Putting Sleeping dogs on B is criminal

The Term "GTA Clone" needs to die. it only holds the industry back, it only holds open world games with a modern setting back, not to mention how wildly different these games actually are from gta despite like three similar mechanics.

Not to be that guy mate but half of these are not clones - they are open world games that happen to have guns and allow you to drive cars, thats it - watch dogs and just cause are very distinct, same with Hit and Run.

Scarface and sleeping dogs should be S rank

Watch Dogs would have been so much more replayable if they had managed to lock in a physics system similar to Euphoria

Gotta say Watch dogs 2 has to be my favorite with how reactive the open world is and I just loved starting massive wars between the gangs and police. It was amazing for its time since NPCs had their own separate wanted system which was unique and it was entertaining to watch.

Honestly I don't think we should call games clone jt bcz they share the same genre not a single game in the list has the same story or characters or art style they are unique on their own... I mean that would be ridiculous if someone says tomb raider and uncharted are clone or copy... But both games are completely different and other aspects... We should encourage developers the reason saints row failed was the constant critism by calling it a GTA clone and I think it's pretty sad......

Getaway needs a remake I’m 30 probably one of my favorite games as a child

Calling these types of games "GTA Clones" is such a diminutive way of describing this type of open world sandbox genre. We are now at a point in time where there are almost no games entertaining this genre - unfortunately too many would compare the game to GTA. Most people prefer not to have that association. People need to learn these games stand on their own.
