Good evening Val, I got through the Garda reserve interview process twice and twice when it left Public Appointments and my paper work was sent to the Guards for them to process it they f#@ked me about. Waiting two year's for Garda clearance and in the end they dissolved the panel, what a waste of my time.I have family in Guards, I have military service, worked in two civil service departments and worked in the emergency services.I belive it to be down to DEI, I am fifty-six now and have tryed to meet the powers that be in this bull-shit country more than halfway on numerous occasions and all I ever got was a slap in the face.Successive government's (ie) FF FG have failed in their governance over this country bleeding society for all they could get.The toxicity that now runs through every fiber of this land is beyond comprehension, it is now up to the people for once to bring change so futher generations might have some hope of having a decent life, although I doubt it as they seem to prefer fear over freedom.

One cannot join the irish defence forces if a member of an illegal organisation or subversive organisation, if conscription was to come in people that could be drafted would need to make sure they arent eligible

Recruiting  in Ireland for the future EU army  . Irish unity will be rushed through  and the Brits will want the Republic of Ireland citizens joining a British force to help fight their wars around the world and become cannon fodder against armies like Russia  , so no thanks .
