Only the quiet ones will be left…” In the sleepy college town of Springfield, Missouri, the Staudte family members began to die one after the next— each painted with a mysterious ring of blood around their lips. After a year and a half of tragedy, the local pastor finally uncovered the truth.

As an autistic person: if you "don't want to be a parent to a child with autism," don't fucking have kids at all. Point blank, period. If you can't love your kid unconditionally, don't have a kid at all

There's adult daycares and schools for people with special needs. There's NO EXCUSE for the actions of these evil monsters.

as a 25 year old autistic person, cases like this make me sick. how can people be so disgusting?

Diane : admits to poisoning 3 members of the family.

Detective : why not the other two daughters?

Diane : Because I loved them.

😮 What an EVIL, VILE woman.

The detective did things so well. He wasn’t aggressive, or pushy. He showed an amazing degree of patience and professionalism. Kudos

My mom is a diagnosed sociopath and her personality is the same as this woman. HIGHLY educated yet talking to them is like talking to a door knob, extremely insular my mom goes months with no human contact. She left us four kids to permanently fend for ourselves when we were 13, 11, 9 and 7 and disassociated herself from us for no reason. Just had no feeling or remorse and had literally nothing to say. My dad took my baby sis the youngest, I am the oldest I was trafficked at 13 til 17 along with my sister and my brother got locked up for stealing food and ended up in prison. Thanks for the context guys love this channel

Kind of a small point but this is the clearest audio I've ever heard in an interrogation and I've heard maybe 1000 by now 😅

@DekuTarot 2 years ago

You both have the calmest voices I love listening when I need something not too loud and crazy to listen to at work or before bed. I can't believe I haven't heard this case!

I knew a woman who had 2 deaths at her home that were from neglect.... no jail because she's just an old church lady...... pisses me off just because someone goes to church doesn't mean that they are a good person....

@Mandaleighloni 2 years ago

The audio on the interrogation video is SO clear, you can completely feel how eerie that room is

@MB-rt8vi 2 years ago

What's scary, is that if they moved to another state after each death, they probably would have gotten away with it

My Stepmother was physically and emotionally abusive and was our Church's Secretary At age 18 I told people at my Church and they believed me She resigned and left our Church ❤

I agree that manipulators and liars terrify me. I was married for 20 years to a narcissist, liar, manipulator and gaslighter. Never once did I consider murdering him. My divorce was final five years ago and, although I’m barely scraping by on disability, I am free to do and think what I want. They’re insane to think they could just flippantly take someone’s life and go on living as if nothing happened. Two very dangerous individuals in my opinion. God rest the souls of the victims.

Thank you for highlighting that just because a family member doesn't contribute financially doesn't mean they're not helping the family out! As someone disabled this means the world

@ElaineDavis-t6d 1 year ago

Diane grew frustrated being the only family member working,she was supporting her whole family while they laid around watching tv

Austin really cracks me up everytime he is on a podcast 😄 Austin, I think you were extra shinny on the mile higher podcast because maybe we are so used to the dark background lighting for lights out idk 😅

@mckenzieschmelzer4304 2 years ago

am i the only one who cracked up at "red flag 6892"? 😂 yall are hilarious. makes these insane cases easier to hear

@margaretstewart2575 2 years ago

This is so disturbing, my son is 27, has autism and severe learning difficulties. I could cry listening to her lies and her daughters.

As someone who needed A LOT of medical care and not a lot of family, I have to chime in here. In my early 40s, I spent about 3 years in a nursing home. My disability check covered my care. I know that this is an option. So terribly sad. I don't understand these people
