A weekly staple on ‘The Rich Eisen Show’ since 2018, ‘Overreaction Monday’ is now also an extended podcast with Rich and Chris Brockman debating the latest in the NFL. Today' topics:

1:15 - Are we sure the Raiders shouldn't just ride with Kirk Cousins this year, trade down and take a QB in 2027?
5:10 - With Dexter Lawrence, the Bengals will have a top-5 defense for the first time in the Joe Burrow era
8:45 - After pulling off the monster Lawrence trade and having two top 10 picks, the Giants are winning the NFC East
10:55 - Andy Reid is sneaky worried about Patrick Mahomes’ long-term health and wants Jeremiyah Love to go full-on rush attack
14:00 - Of the six teams with two first-round picks, half will use them to trade up
17:30 - The Arizona Cardinals’ QB mess means they're already in tank mode for the 2027 NFL Draft
21:45 - The Steelers should tell Aaron Rodgers “no thanks” and called Derek Carr
26:50 - When AJ Brown is traded to the Patriots he's going to lead the NFL in touchdown catches in 2026
29:20 - A team with an established QB, possibly a Super Bowl contender, is going to draft Ty Simpson

Tune in to the Emmy-nominated Rich Eisen Show live weekdays from Noon to 3PM ET on Disney+, ESPN+, ESPN Radio, and streaming on SiriusXM channel 80.

Take a drink every time Rich says 'at the end of the day" and you'll be 3 sheets to the wind by the 21 minute mark.

I'd love for more episodes where they look back on these discussions and see how they panned out

I hate to say this, but the Raiders should draft Mendoza just to save him from being drafted by the Jets.

It’s hilarious to me that people were so upset with the Seahawks for making K9 split carries, and K9 even said he hated splitting carries and now people are wanting the chiefs to do the same thing.

Let's call this: Rich Eisen's "At the end of the day..." 😂

Huge move for the Bengals, and very unBengalslike

Trey hendrickson was amazing at getting sacks. He wasn't that great at impacting the defense as u noted seconds earlier saying they have never had a great defense with burrow

Just three more days until we can finally stop hearing people in the media insist that the Raiders should trade down

Manning and Harrison on the same team would be a fun little subplot.

Mendoza couldn’t carry Joe Burrows lunchbox.

Comparing a potential Maye/Brown to 2007 Brady/Moss is absolutely wild, and I can't believe Rich even entertained the idea

Future question: Will teams be using AI in their draft room and if so could that lead to more complex and interesting trades?

Simpson surprised me turning down 6 million to go to The Hurricanes...

The Cardinals tanking to draft Arch Manning would be poetic considering they already have Marvin Harrison. Cardinals should check to see if Edgerrin James has any kids while they''re at it.
