I don't know what I enjoy more the reaction to the song🤷 or going through the ranking list. 😊

The cover art of Epic Narratives reflects all the songs on the album. Magie is the German word for magic, represented by the pentagram just to the right of the tower.

Dance-Maid!

I'm just glad it's above "cowbell".  LOL

Already up to Epic Narratives? Wow how time flies!
Mah-Gee (not -Jee) The second pronunciation was the closest, from what I understand. The German word for Magic.

I believe the origin of this is ‘Mag-hee’, the German word for magic. I don’t know why, but I’m pretty sure I read that in a forum somewhere.

Black Hole should be higher😮

💜💛❤💙💚
I would have put it above Protect You.
Please do HAGANE - Rising of the Shield.

Saiki , Wrote the lyrics for Magie .

Would you believe they're both on the same album? 😂

Amazing no asterisk on this one!
This song is a mix for me…love Mincho’s riffs but it not a top 20. However that list always changes.😎
🤘🕊️🦍🥷👸🏻👀PO!

I do it! But I understand your struggle. there must be other bands that do this to you; who are they?  I've gone through a number of your videos, but what bands gives you such a hard time with the * ?

"Magie" is Magic in French, so I guess you would pronounce like in French. But I don't think the title appears in the lyrics.

I think Protect You is a tighter package, but I love Kanami's guitar work on this one.  That opening riff is amazing, and there's a lot of other intricate stuff throughout.  The opener is the main one they featured for Kanami's signature PRS interview video.

Minuses on this one for me are the "Everybody dancing" bit feels a little too high.  I find the notes kind of grating.

And the English parts of the lyrics are kind of unintelligible.  Most of the time, you can kind of get what they're going for, and generally speaking, I applaud that they just fucking go for it, doing their best to express themselves without like professional translator intervention, but I just have no clue what they were trying to say with stuff like "I don't like about it."

I know a decent amount of Japanese, and I can work backwards a bit, like try to figure out what they would have said in Japanese, that they directly translated with a dictionary or something.  There are a few lines in Bestie where you can trace the line from the Japanese thought.  But I'm just lost here.

Not a fan. It seems like they saw the success No God had as a jumping party live song and went to write another one. I can't with "everybody dancing on the beat" it's like something from a show for four year olds lol. And the start of the guitar solo is from another one of their songs.
