I'm ngl i know this isn't a Thor exclusive thing, but everything runs so well I forget i'm emulating. This coupled with the clamshell really makes it feel like a console

i mean playing games at 4x-5x resoltuion with hd texture packs and the the form of a 3ds. honestly was never super into ds emulation on my pc, but the thor literally makes it fun again

If I known about the Thor much sooner, I wouldn’t have bought a Switch and instead bought this instead. But, it’s on my list and I’ll buy it when I’m able to.

I've had mine for over 3 months and still use it daily, it's a multi-media device, that OLED screen makes YouTube look incredible and it sits up like a tiny laptop for media consumption.

The lid gap doesn't bother me at all. After owning a 3DS and having the bottom screen make marks on the top screen I appreciate it.

I actually love playing PS2 games on this. Just feels amazing to take along and/or play on the bed in such a small formfactor. I hope dual screen will continue to be supported with more software coming. Just the frontends alone have become so damn good with Cocoon being my favorite.

wonder if the wifi update will be like the odin 2 ghost touch issues where they never really found a fix and mostly ignore support requests. Hopefully not since it is so new and they want to keep selling units

I still kinda agree with the theory going around that the reason some Thors get their hinges broken is because of the gap. There's no support on either corner, so if you treat the Thor like any other clamshell and just stuff it into pockets and bags, there's eventually enough twisting on the top screen that that weakens the hinge and eventually cracks it. If I ever got a Thor, I'd probably come up with some kind of "pads" in the corners that help support the top screen when it's closed.

I'm so glad I bought the Thor back in fall of last year. Because now the price has gone up, and people have been waiting 2+ months to receive them nowadays.
