HR High School is a correspondence high school support school newly opened in April 2025. It is an educational institution that aims for a wide range of careers, including obtaining a high school diploma and entering university, by incorporating subject learning to cultivate basic academic skills, while also focusing on problem-solving learning that utilizes both online and offline methods to foster non-cognitive abilities and a spirit of career exploration.

Guest Speaker Information:
Masahiro Takahama (Representative, Hanamaru Learning Center)

Born in Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture in 1959. After graduating from Kumamoto Prefectural High School, he entered the University of Tokyo. He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Tokyo, and completed his master's degree at the Graduate School of Agricultural Sciences, University of Tokyo. In 1993, driven by the concern that "this country is mass-producing adults who cannot be independent," the Hanamaru Learning Association was established with the philosophy of "raising adults who can earn a living," focusing on "composition," "reading," "critical thinking," and "outdoor experiences." In 1995, School FC, a preparatory school for elementary school fourth graders to junior high school third graders, was established. Without flyers, and relying solely on word-of-mouth, the association grew through word-of-mouth, with mothers handling everything from finding locations to recruiting members. The membership, initially 20, has grown to over 20,000 in 23 years. Furthermore, the association's outdoor experience programs, such as the Summer School and Snow Country School, are extremely popular, attracting approximately 10,000 participants annually. In the summer of 2020, the Hanamaru Deserted Island Project was launched.

For the past 10 years, she has provided various forms of support to public schools, and since April 2015, she has been involved in the operation of "Takeo Hanamaru Gakuen," a public-private partnership school in Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, which has been expanded to all 11 public elementary schools in the city. She has consistently provided learning support for children with disabilities and counseling for adolescents who are socially withdrawn, and currently operates as an independent, specialized NPO called "Child-Rearing Support Team Mugigumi." The number of participants in her lectures for parents and others, which she energetically conducts in various locations, exceeded 30,000 annually for in-person lectures, but has surpassed 100,000 since moving online. She is so popular that she even has "follow-me moms." She has authored numerous books, including the long-selling "Habits of Mothers Who Raise Children Who Continue to Grow," as well as "Math Brain Development to Cultivate by the Third Grade," "Raising Your Child to Become an Adult Who Can Earn a Living," the "Math Brain Puzzle Nazope" series, and "Becoming an Adult Who Can Earn a Living! The Rules of the World." There are 200 related books, with a total circulation of over 3 million copies.
