Today is the 15 year anniversary of this video! What are the odds!

This video doesn't look 15 years old, it looks better than newly released videos.

"You can tell this director is a photographer because every shot looks like a photograph" (16:10) -- You're spot on, Steven Klein is a photographer!

I feel gaga is a fashion icon. All her music since the very beginning was just peak art and fashion. She revolutionised what music videos could be in a time when there was nothing like it

6:22 fun fact although lady gaga has only publicly dated men as far as I know, she's actually not straight, she's actually bisexual, and one of her biggest hits "poker face" is literally about being bisexual and thinking about women while being in a relationship with a man, you may want to remember this when you get to the Poker Face music video and start to analyze its lyrics.

So yeah, while post people think she's an ally of the lgbt community, she's actually more than that, she's part of the community, the "B" letter to be precise.

Makeup artist Val Garland persuaded Gaga to bleach her eyebrows for this video though Gaga was reluctant to do so. Val did a lot of makeup for Gaga's 'Born This Way ' era, including the prosthetic shoulder, temple and cheeks Val first did for an Alexander McQueen runway show. The dancer that Gaga is with on the bed, said in an interview that this was the first pop video he had danced in, and his family were shocked to see him on a bed just wearing a wig, briefs and high heels with Gaga mounting him!

lady gaga timeline update: this is pre-crazy hip injury when her dancing (and laurieanne gibson as choreographer) were in fulll peak. judas, alejandro, telephone.... man she was on her GAME before that injury.

that's what really makes the dancing w the cane in abracadabra so meaningful!

Its so cinematic. Like you are really watching a mini movie.I love her since the beginning of her career when nobody got her presence. I did.. i understood why she was need and why she debuted at the right time. A world just needed a strong female pop star because others were fading into background. At that time I remember what we had in radio was rnb and what not. She made pop exiting again. I was 17 when she debuted questioning my sexuality. With her I understood that I like who I like it can be woman, man, transman, transwoman. I dont lable myself in that sense but yes I am part of the community. ❤
