THIS "GAME" WAS MEANT TO PUMP UP NFTS AND THEN DUMP IT

To be honest this was predictable even back when this thing had actual updates made about it.

There is no game.. There is no unlimited games.. and there is NO bacon.

I can't wait for the kandyland AI where you can talk to Susie snacktime

This company lost me when I heard the letters n, f, and t together

Gee, it's almost as if Kandyland was made just to shill NFTs and nothing else

Bad news: I ated all the candy now there is no more Candyland

The NFTs were the smoke and gun for me.

“Kandyland is cancelled”… has it even started?

Remember how they used to make NFTs of their characters? Remember how NFTs crashed and burned?
Frankly, I’m waiting for them to decide to hop on the AI bandwagon and flop even harder.

You don't even need a freddy fazbear shaped crystal ball to know that goldlane studio never had any idea of what to do with the kandyland franchise besides ill fated nft scams, because let's be honest, they're not game devs, they're not writters, heck they're not even storytellers. They're just obviously corporate animators... That's it

And let's not get surprised when goldlane decides to revive kandyland cuz I'm pretty sure they're gonna make ai generated kandyland animations considering they're a corporate... I was gonna say "studio" but I'm just gonna call them what they actually are. A business

Should’ve said kandyland kancelled

You cant cancel something that was never gonna be made in the first place

I saw the title and immediately went "Is it even a game?"

It's really a shame it was all a scam because, I think, at least Kandy's character design is really charming. If only he was used for something that actually exists and is good and wasn't used for NFTs.

Honestly, I'm not shocked at all.

0:51 gasp kitty :D

I completely forgot Kandyland even existed.

Well I guess it didn't really exist

Let me say it like this. If I want a haircut, I go to a barber and want a barber. But if I arrive at the barber and he suddenly talks about stockmarket instead of offering me a haircut, something is off.
They tried to make a series and then suddenly Web3 (something something) can be read. It's always a red flag, when devs do something "A" and then mention something "B", which is completely unrelated to the thing. And worse, Kandyland would have gone skyrocket as a franchise, if they actually sat on their ass and made it. The Pilot was promising, the animation was insane, but sadly predictable how the story would play out. Not to mention the similarities to FNAF: Sister Location, which is too close to home. ngl, I would have played it, they made it.

oh yea, kandyland, that thing from years ago everyone called a scam, completely forgot it, and i will probably forget it again

at first I believed they were stuck on development hell, it happens, but after so much time in silence now it's fair to assume this was all just to "pump up" NFTs and make some easy money.

Call me paranoid but I feel like with this new announcement they might be trying to get away from the game as much as they can while still getting the earnings from it, perhaps to avoid drama when something bad eventually comes to light.
