We have had a very busy week, starting the downstairs renovation and showing you some of my favourite second hand gems from Facebook Marketplace.
The work downstairs is in full swing and Tom kicks off by filling up the holes in the kitchen walls after the boiler was moved upstairs. We then get cracking on bringing in our Facebook Marketplace finds - MADE drawers, IKEA drawers and giant mirrors! As Tom and Martin work downstairs, I’m on the top floor starting to bring upstairs together by decorating the dressing room and bedroom.
Over the last week, we got a LOT done in the living/dining room - we start taking up all of the floorboards and replacing the damp proof course and any rotten joists. Also, after standing for 110 years our joists have bent and sagged over time, so we worked at propping up the joists where they sagged until the base was all level. We then spray the entire lounge for woodworm (just in case!) and then chop up PIR insulation to place in between all of the joists, and after ALL of this, we were ready to screw the floorboards all down. Although it wouldn’t be us if we didn’t manage to mess it up the first time! Once the floor is down and the lounge/diner is starting to feel a little more normal, I talk you through our plans for the cupboard under the stairs/coat cupboards.

As always, loved the video!
I think it is a pitty that you don't reach more people with your video's. It was by pure chance that I found you, but I think a lot more of strugling DIYers and renovationaddicts would like to discover your channel.
Have you considered changing the name of your channel? Renovation, victorian, home, DYI, ... are all words that pop up quickly when you start a search.
Just a suggestion, well- meant.
