I remember watching this off in the distance with relatives when I was in elementary school. It was a great series.

So glad I found this video!  Thank you for posting!     So many memories!!

The only time during their fantastic run in the 90s that the Indians clinched a playoff series win at home.

I was at that game.  It's hard to believe it's been almost 30 years ago.

I do not believe for the love of god cleveland did not win a world series

There have been few ALDS series I've seen that can compare to this one.

I was there. Thanks to my Grandpa.

No greater feeling than taking down the evil empire. Priceless seeing Steinbrenner's stupid face in the press box after the final out lol!

The organization that buys players  vs. The organization that builds them!

Go Tribe!!  Miss this era of baseball. Prime childhood years

I have been waiting for someone to finally upload this series. Cannot thank you enough! It’s very appreciated 🤘

As a Yanks fan, will never forget O’Neill legging out the double in the 9th despite being broken and injured. This is why he was called the warrior. Even in defeat champions never give up.

Great to see the Stankees lose anytime. Even more special since this is the first time I'm watching this in its entirety having been in basic training in the Marine Corps in October 1997. Thanks again for posting these.

Yankees wouldn’t lose another postseason series for four years after this

Celebrate!-Joe Buck 1997

They say Clevelands pitching was not all that in that 1997 season. It must of been better than what they say being it carried them to game 7 of the world series that year. Mind you I'm not even a Indians fan...

i was born in march of 97 my dad was a rockies fan til he met my mom and moved to ohio

The Yankees would get their revenge in the 1998 ALCS

Thank you for uploading games 4 & 5 of this series.  Do you have the 9/23/1988 Red Sox-Yankees game at Yankee Stadium?  I've been trying to find it for years.

2:55:39 Vizquel and Mesa embracing. Not for much longer. If anyone knows the name of the song played over the PA after the final out, please advise.
