Smartest cop in the history of the force.

The part with the cop is probably one of the most underrated moments. It was a brief moment of comedy in an otherwise fun crazy thriller

Jimmy looks down the hall, which is strewn with dead bodies, takes off his cop hat (using his gun hand), "You working again?" A-mazing.

What's really interesting is how Officer Jimmy slowly and deliberately takes off his police cap before he asks if John is back to "working" again. It's a great and subtle way to let the audience know that the person asking that question isn't "Officer Jimmy" anymore, but "Underworld Agent Jimmy". He's indirectly asking if he'll need to cover something up for John.

"dinner reservation for 12 still confuses me"  my guy......12 bodies to be taken care of. not hard to understand it xD

Jimmy was so calm about everything including asking  working again John I think he's apart of the business in some way he's seen all this before

I like to imagine that when the cop heard he had to go to John Wick's house for a noise complaint, he dragged himself to his door as slowly as possible, while mentally preparing to die on the spot. When he left, he probably bolted out of his property as fast as humanly possible.

When even the police knows to leave you alone to not..... die. That means you're doing something right.

Police Chief: so Jimmy, what was the noise complaint about?
Jimmy: just a homeowner doing some home defense sir.
Police Chief: do you at least have the name of the homeowner?
Jimmy: yes sir, it’s John Wick .
Police Chief: OH

"I'd like to report a noise complaint" "Sure what's the adress mam ?" "Thank you for calling and fuck off"

I love how the cop sees a feckin corpse from the doorway and doesn't give a sh!t... to be fair if I was in the cops shoes and knew how lethal John was I would've done the same thing... He's not an individual to mess with, it was obviously a home invasion, I would just leave him be

What I like about Charlie is that he knows just how messy john can be if it's unavoidable and gets big business from him but since john left he probably still had business but probably not much business in one night. Like john would call and say who knows how big of a number for the night/day. Or small number just consistently through a week. Which is why he asked if he will be hearing anything from john he missed his business.

For those who don't know or forgotten about this scene is that, there's a certain deal that was made between the police and the high table. As long as no civilian blood was spilled during their operation, the police will turn a blind eye on their criminal activities.

It's just the way that the cop says," you work it again?" It just makes me laugh.

The guy who plays Charlie is Sully from Commando.

"remember when I promised to kill you last?  I lied."

I am surprised people are shocked by this. Crime scene cleanup is a big business, and there are plenty of private companies that specialize in cleaning up grisly murder scenes. It is a lot more common than most people realize.

When the cop 👮‍♂️ takes off his cap it's not going on his report

Outside of the types that might want to use your house for a staging area, having John Wick as a neighbor would REALLY reduce the local crime….

The Women at 4:23 is an absolute definition of an NPC

I just realized again that not only did Charlie miss John Wick because he was a legendary Assassin with a code of Honor but he was probably also Charlies best customer. When John Wick goes to work he kills people by the dozen. When John was in his Prime, Charlie probably earned stacks just because of him.
