Wolves beat West Brom 1-0 at Molineux — a Black Country derby win to enjoy.
In this episode of This Is Molineux, I look at what stood out from a more controlled and composed Wolves performance: strong individual displays from Toti Gomes, Nasser Djiga and André, the balance Kieran Trippier brought to the side, and why Wolves looked better when defending and recovering the ball further up the pitch.
I also touch on Cesar Peixoto’s substitutions and game management, and why this feels like a performance Wolves can build on without pretending everything is suddenly fixed.
A clean sheet. A derby win. And plenty of positives heading into the international break.
What was your biggest positive from the performance?
