The long-awaited Cast Net Sniper website is finally here! If anyone wants to purchase a Hand built Cast Net by me, they are available at: https://www.castnetsniper.com/.
I put together the best cast net design I have ever thrown and it comes in 8' 9' and 10 foot options. Green webbing with a black/blue handline (Looks amazing & throws beautifully). If you have never thrown a Brazilian style net before, you must try one of my designs!
The net shown in this video was thrown away. I used it on 2 fishing trips and never used it again. I only use my handmade bottom bag cast nets because they are waaaay more fun to throw & extremely effective where I like to fish.
Thanks for watching, the Cast Net Sniper

Omg! The first video in years finally showing this technique. Ive always wondered how the brazilians, colombians, mexicans and asians cast like this! My question is if its possible with a 12ft heavy net. Im assuming most of the bottom pocket castnets they throw are light

Thank you gor the details about the loading as the key to opening. I've resisted a backhand throw until I saw your video. But I'm almost never throwing for distance because of the need for a precision placement to miss rocks.

Thanks for sharing. I'm from Colombia and some folks here throw it pretty similar. I actually saw this technique first from fisherman from Peru. It's very similar and I've practiced it myself. Haven't perfected it yet but I'm getting there. This is a very important technique to master in order to achieve long distance throws (13-15 meters) with the help of the wind. Thanks again.

Hi.
You've explained every step needed for a great cast very well.
Congratulations!
I already cast the cast net with an Italian technique, but it doesn't allow long distances.
Before watching your video, I tried, but the result was an oval opening from right to left.
Perhaps because the leads were at the same height?
Grazie

lol, I once forgot step1 bye bye net. BTW it was the best I've ever thrown a net. Throwing for bait has become as satisfying as fishing with the bait.
