Trying to build a house by dumpster diving in The Sims 3

This is one of the most requested videos I see but I'm terrified of building on camera. I try to see how much of a house I can build and furnish using only what I find in the diner's dumpsters.
Who knew the diner threw away so many bedside tables?

REMEMBER do not buy anything from EA. With the incoming sale of EA to the Saudi Arabian investment fund and Jared Kushner, EA's profits will directly financially contribute to the harm of women, LGBTQIA+ people and other marginalised groups.
If you still want to play the old Sims games, buy physical copies from resellers (you can often find The Sims base game and expansions on eBay for a very low price). If you don't have a disc drive, you can also buy cheap USB drives to install the games.

Also here for the background horror of Justine Keaton constantly in labor and never able to deliver, immortal because of pregnancy but begging for the Reaper to release her from her torment. Absolute nightmare fuel.
And that weird orange wood colour on the end tables that I cannot recreate and colour match for the life of me. The minute you try to CASt it, the colour reverts to one of the established default swatches and does not undo.
