Really annoying that 9/10 gay films end badly. It's like the movie directors are trying to make us subconsciously believe we don't deserve to be happy.

Why do most gay movies end so sad.  We are allowed to be happy❤❤

Just as in real life not everything is peaches and cream but every once in a while it would be nice to see a happy ending😢

This particular story left me wanting more, to see them together wherever their paths would lead them.  I need to see the entire film, no matter the outcome.. Thank you for sharing this story with us...

Those short relationships are so bittersweet and perfect! This is a great video!

The moral of this story is that you shouldn't run in flipflops, ;)

Beautiful couple... But so sad movie

Very realistic movie. I see commenters here wishing it had a happy ending, however, I prefer to view it as a pause in their relationship. One can not honestly expect Maurice to throw his plans to the wind for a guy he just met a week ago. He should go to Angola and help out where he's needed. And if he and Lourenco were really meant to be together, they'd stay in touch. And if he gets his visa, he should visit Angola. If not, then Maurice can look him up once he returns to the US.

Omg, I was hoping it would be a happy ending 😢 you could feel the emotion, I thought when he was standing at the ferry and he would turn around and hear the words ," I couldn't go and leave you" fabulous edit once again.

Good acting. It deserves a part two

Your edit was so good it got me want to watch the whole movie! I was so relieved to find out it wasn't a sad ending after all—that last scene where Lorenzo talks to his mom really makes you feel like both of them are going to get their happy ending

great edit! thank you so much! the characters really had a beautiful chemistry <3

This was taking me out of the ordinary 😊😊😊😊

I developed a crush on Marco ever since he was in the Australian show Tidelands. His looks certainly help, but that's not everything; it's in his eyes that reveal his vulnerabilities that draw me in, driven by some primal instinct. He has confidence but also doubt. Every time I see him, he carries that tragic hero vibe that you don't often see in good-looking blokes these days. It really creates a kind of cognitive dissonance that both terrifies and excites me.

That’s what makes it bittersweet, my brothers. That feeling of almost having something that could be great, but alas, remains just another missed opportunity. That’s the kind of stuff that makes most stories great. The Disneyfication of storytelling nowadays is a bit of a sick joke on us. Fairy tale endings belong to the realm of children; they really never play out in the real world.

I can't wait to rent or buy this movie.

Anyone still here 🙏

It’s a really well made film. The photograph, the timing, the rhythm, it’s a perfect portrait of a summer love story without a happy ending. Exactly when you see the great couple made by the actors, the story must to end, poetically sad.

Very efficient for only 14 minutes. It’s brilliant. Subtle. Endorsed the right way. Bravo. And THANK YOU:

Beautiful music. It sets the mood throughout the entire story. Great selection!

Beautiful story from beginning to end.

I loved this story.  Thank you.  It was beautiful.  It should be a full length movie.  Maybe a sequel should considered. ❤
