This is the first time a youtuber says he is sick and I can actually hear a difference in their voice

A gaming video and an anti smoking ad all in one? I respect the hustle.

I wanted the series to move in the direction of Unity and Syndicate. If they made an Assassin’s Creed with huge crowds, black box assassinations, confessions during kills, motion captured cutscenes, and an actual modern day you’d have the perfect AC game. I know Unity and Syndicate both lacked modern day in any meaningful capacity but in terms of being fun AC games that make you feel like an assassin they are my favorites in the series.

Worrying about the health of the AC franchise in 2025 is like worrying about the foundation of a house that already burned down

This is like worrying that the pile of ash that used to be your house might catch fire again

So what drew me into AC was the historical fiction and alternative history presented. It was cool to think that many of our major events were consequences of the Assassin/Templar conflict and that the studio was wiling to at least present ideas that challenged the status quo, even if a little.

I also liked that the games actually took a stance against fascism and wasn’t afraid to call out wealthy capitalists plundering our planet for profit, even if those billionaires and companies are fictional. The Subject 16 missions/puzzles in II and Brotherhood were great.

I am just glad that dude is out. AC Shadows is the first ever AC I haven't bought because I have been pushing myself through crap since AC Odyssey. The new guy can either be just as bad where I continue not buying or might actually do something good.

Didn’t expect to hear Roshan from AC Mirage narrating a Luke Stephens video

I think it should be a requirement for anyone who is to be in charge of a franchise to have spent time in said franchise. Watching the movies, playing the games, and spending time in the community that allowed said franchise to become a franchise.
