Any government that does this to its citizens health care, doesn't care

Sadly the same story … nowhere for the medically fit to go to free up hospital beds as a  lot of community hospitals/rehab/convalescent homes closed.. such short sightedness 😢

My mum works at a hospital and I’m horrified by her stories. People are abusing the systems, care homes call an ambulance when a patient has a flu or tripped over with nothing broken. Families don’t bother collecting their family members and do everything to keep them in the hospitals, it’s unbelievable

The politicians have allowed the population to grow at frightening levels. Only going to get worse.

I have been cancelled a good few times for various operations with my acute, degenerative disorders but fully understood exactly why it was happening, I also voluntarily discharged myself twice, to ensure more important cases got due attention.
Surely that is just a normal, unselfish way to act???

The NHS is doomed under any of the possible future governments.
- Conservatives have stated they're going to increase NHS spending above inflation every year and plans to recruit thousands more nurses and doctors by the end of the next Parliament. - But I don't think anybody believes them OR will vote for them after the carnage they left behind.
- Labour HAVE started to increase the number of appointments each week and have expanded GP  services to combat wait times, but things don't change overnight AND we all hate Kier Starmer - so realistically no one is going to vote for them again either.
- Greens have the biggest spending commitments for the NHS and social care and have fully rejected private sector healthcare  and have stated to tax the ultra-wealthy  billions and put a ban on tax havens in order to stop multi-millionaires from dodging tax in order to raise investment, but people still see them as wishy washy and eco warriors, and they're not taken seriously therefore they won't get the vote.
- Reform are an absolute no go as they want an American-style system of private insurance therefore privatizing the NHS and I don't know anyone that can afford £200-£500 a month on insurance. Other wild and quite frankly delusional high-level promises is that they're going to source billions of pounds to fix the NHS, but after that secret interview came out we now know it's just a front to sell the UK citizens data to America and the middle east.
- Lib Dems want to increase taxes across the board including low income in order to provide loads more funding which will be highly unpopular. (I won't lie I haven't really looked into their policies as they'll never win anyway)
So we're stuck at a cross roads!

Stop making primary care virtually inaccessible and stop paying community carers minimum wage! AI taking over primary care is a shambles. Lack of adult Social Care carers is a major problem. Heath care assistants in the NHS get paid quite a bit more than care home and community carers. They do the same work!

My mate was told she could go home at 9 am they still left her in ward bed until her discharge paps n meds were given she finally got out at 6.47 pm could have took her to discharge area to give bed to someone ridulous right hand don't know what left hand is doing it's a disgrace

It didn't help and all went wrong when the government shut down loads of council run ' old people's homes' as they were known back in the day. Until the government spend money on our own country and reopened council homes for the elderly and actually got on the shop floor and actually saw the crisis of this situation maybe they would do something but the government especially starmer are so out of touch of the real world and start spending money where it is urgently needed, things are only going to get worse. Is this the government's plan anyway an excuse to finish off our NHS.

They should NEVER have privatised adult social care.

It's malpractice for that child with scoliosis to have to wait that long and become 80% curve. Unconscionable.

@52:56 I am so happy, and so EXTREMELY PROUD of this young man's effort and care that he put in for mavis to get get her into her her home. God bless him and all the staff that took care of her and of course God bless mavis too, I hope she has a wonderful life going forward and is happy. 😊❤

Look at the number of highly paid executives (usually six figures) trying to pass a camel through the eye of the needle! Cancel operations and kick the can down the road. This is utter madness, but the fate of the NHS that has been squeezed from all sides by ‘cost-cutting’
