For more inspiration, you can find PART 2 linked in the description box below. Thank you so much for watching.

I am on a very fixed income and haven't 'celebrated' holidays for years (my choice) mostly b/c I don't live near family. I actually look forward to spending them by myself. That being said, a couple of things i like to do for the winter season is to use up all my old herbs in the cabinet that are no longer fresh. I go to the dollar store and get pkgs of different sizes of styrofoam balls, put some hot glue on them, and then roll the balls in the dried herbs. They still make the room smell like Christmas. When sending Christmas presents out, I use wooden cut out decorations from the dollar store and stencil brown paper. I use twine for ribbon. During the year I dry slices of lemon and orange hanging on twine in front of windows, and attach these slices along with cinnamon sticks and small pincones to the 'ribbon' to give it some flair. I try to buy fresh cranberries during the season and dry them also for presents. Sprigs of pine needles or small branches of wild red berries are used too. I love your ideas.

❤instead of running around in the shops to buy Christmas decorations, making them yourselves is so much better.

I am a first time viewer and have been reminded of what I use to be...somehow with life's ups and downs I let my simple creativity slowly slip away year after year, watching your video has made me want it back. TY

Greetings from Germany! Home Christmas decorations used to be like that here generally until not long ago. Now the plastic stuff is creeping in more and more. My family sticks with the homemade, natural items with a symbolic meaning or practical use mostly, but I did give in to the kids and bought some fairy lights for the front garden.
However, they love crafting tree ornaments, paper stars etc., buying it all would take so much of the fun away!

I am watching this mid-February and we are buried in snow. Literally!  And I felt all Christmassy, like I was a young child again.  The music you chose was perfect!

Happy Wednesday I am a first time viewer. So glad I came across your channel.  So calm  peaceful. just beautiful. Thank you and be blessed

I love foraging for natural items!!😊

Your channel was just recommended to me and I clicked subscribe right away! It’s such a breath of fresh air watching videos like this not promoting consumerism with influencers’ home goods, hobby lobby, and even thrifted hauls 🙄 I unfortunately don’t live on a property where I can easily forage things from nature. But I use oranges, fresh cranberries, and apples as Christmas decors. I ended up planting a large holly plant with red berries. Hopefully it will get very large someday and I can cut a few clipping without hurting it. I also have dwarf evergreen trees in pots as my front door decoration with a red bow around the pots to make it more festive. I love your channel and can’t wait to binge watch later when I get home.

I just got home from a long, stressful day. This video popped up, and I'm so glad I stayed to watch til the end. I enjoyed every heart-warming moment. I found it to be soothing and calming. Wonderful choices of music. The kiss on the dog's forehead was the best. I will come back to visit. Thank you ❤.

I accidentally found this video tonight, and I’m sooooo very glad I did!! I love it!! I’m sooooo very glad to see someone using natural things to decorate with for Christmas. I’ve always loved doing this, but it seems there are so few that still does. Thank you for sharing! ♥️

You are a sweet lady!  God bless you!❤

Your sharing of these sweet, reflective ideas is a gift, too ❤

How lovely to be able to find all those beautiful greens and other gifts from nature to make your decorations. First time finding your channel and I thoroughly enjoyed this video.

I absolutely loved watching this. What a peaceful way to create a cozy Christmas.

When my kids were small. This what I did. They loved helping me find things to use to decorate the tree and the house. I still have ornaments they made way back then.

Niente supera la natura nelle decorazioni natalizie ❤

Which a lovely video and beautiful ideas 🌲 Have a wonderful Christmas 🎉
