I have over 100 hours in Stellar Blade across 3 play throughs, feel so bad for anyone who didn’t give this a chance because they wrote it off as “gooner bait”. An absolute masterpiece, can’t wait for Blood Rain!!!!!

It’s clear that the game’s story was sort of half in-half out but you can DEFINITELY tell there was more than enough lore underneath waiting to be explored what was established through log texts.

I could not disagree more about the Drone. I thought it was a fantastic addition to Eve’s toolkit and was very well implemented.

If you keep up with the upgrades, it becomes incredibly powerful against non-boss enemies.

I’m currently playing it so I’ll have to come back and watch this video. I’m 45 hours in tho and it’s absolutely amazing.

[EDIT] I finished it the other night and By The Gods this game blew me away. The final hours were so amazing. This game is basically a masterpiece. Blood Rain with be a Day 1 deluxe edition preorder.

I beat this game 4 times. I LOVE IT. It has the best boss battles out of any game I have played. It just edges Sekiro for me.

Goated video! Went ahead and watched all of it. It does hurt me inside whenever you refer nikke as infinity nikke you might have switched it up. Editing and flow of the video is nice and well paced and solid editing. Hype for SB2! hopefully they improve the story in the next entry! You need more subs!!!!

It is fascinating how 'Moments' tell stories that go beyond words and I'd argue, are written in pure brain activity. It is cool to see how many distinct ways a creator can conjure up these moments as well. There are few that surpass 9S reading hidden data logs on his lonesome, the true ending of Starfox 64, or Eve hopping on her sword to skate down a rollercoaster track in my overall experience. These moments, paired up with music are pretty much the only things I remember when I shelf a game and fondly think back.

I remember finishing New Game+ and then trying to defeat Raven in the Boss Challenges mode on Hard. Getting my ass torn apart for over 4 hours.

But that wasn’t a bad thing. I eventually took Raven down and cheered to the heavens. Because the battle was never frustrating due to things beyond my control.

I consistently still play Stellar Blade on Hard Difficulty now, and it still kicks my ass, but it’s a level of challenge that always leaves you craving for more.

For their first AAA entry, Shift Up knocked it out of the park. Bravo!
