Excellent! I love a treacle tart and I haven't had one for years. I grew up in Cornwall but moved away for university, and shops round my way don't seem to sell them these days, but yours looks better than any shop-bought one anyway. The use of apple and orange is interesting, recipes I seen before just use lemon (not in the pastry but in the filling). Definitely gonna give this a go!! Cheers buddy! Well done Jerry! This looks wonderful. I've had walnuts in treacle tart, and beaten egg with lemon( gives a custardy filling), a few quick oats, and real dark raisins with a shot of rum..... but never seen apple and orange in it. Looking forward to making your version next weekend!

Haven't had Treacle Tart since my school days. Always a treat, especially with custard! I will have to make a batch of Golden Syrup up, which is fairly easy to do and make one these fab looking tarts! Thanks for sharing Jerry and laying the steps in a super easy to follow way as always. 💯/💯
