Planet Zoo 2 gameplay is finally here! I played Planet Zoo 2 EARLY for 3 hours and challenged myself to learn the new building tools from scratch and create a cozy Aquarium Café before my time ran out.
In this early Planet Zoo 2 gameplay preview, I test the new custom aquariums, improved building and pathing tools, Wildlife Reserves, drivable safari vehicles, customizable Exhibits, Aviaries and more — all from the perspective of an experienced cozy builder who had NEVER played Planet Zoo before.

I had only THREE HOURS with the game, so instead of trying to learn absolutely everything, I wanted to find out one thing: could I figure out Planet Zoo 2's building system fast enough to create something cozy and aesthetic from scratch?
The answer involved one giant aquarium, a sea turtle, a slightly concerning amount of candles, a very stressed crowd of zoo guests...and eventually a Café. I also managed to squeeze in some time with the new Wildlife Reserves, where you can explore huge natural environments in a vehicle, photograph wildlife and apparently get into arguments with antelopes.
