can't wait for July 5, 2022 when mario finally escapes the bomb grind

Mario carrying cloned bowling ball over to Koopa the Quick

Koopa the Quick: Not again

Waiting 2.3 Years To Escape An Improbable Softlock Is Perfectly Acceptable

damn imagine all those tony hawk pro skater points marios getting from the 2.3 year long 50/50 grind "softlock"

my favorite ones are when mario is in the idle animation but constantly makes the damage sound

I feel like I’m watching if the worlds smartest mathematicians and scientists created a YouTube poop

5:43 after watching Mario do things such as travel backwards at lightning speeds and holding submarines, Koopa the Quick is not surprised when Mario starts emitting strange noises and vibrating.

On today's episode, Pannen does rituals while holding random objects to eternally bonk edges.

Glad to know that I can just wait 2.3 years to escape that last softlock should I ever encounter it. What a relief

Player: does something unintended accidentally
SM64: Softlocks
PM64: Crashes

You’ve been doing this for years, how on earth do you still manage to find stuff. It’s crazy.

Sometimes i consider if i should count GBJ's here instead of on SImpleflips channel.

can we please have a 2.3 year long live stream called "escaping a temporary softlock in real time"? thx. but for real, weird, but great video, had me mesmerized.

(Simulated here with hacks)
Phew, thanks for the clarification. We were worried this video had taken you 4.6 years to make

Could that last technique be used to enter the star dance animation 2.3 years after collecting the star?

There's something I just really love about using a bomb to clone a bomb.

9:10 - 2.3 years to keep a bob-omb from exploding, eh?  It's a good thing Mario went into plumbing and not bomb defusal.

If I did this right, I'm pretty sure the soonest that the Bob-omb cannon "softlock" would finish is on October 10th 1998.

EDIT: Sorry, you'd finish setting it up on October 10th 1998, it'd all be done on February 6th 2001.

I got something similar once in HMC, where I got hit by the rolling rock and got stuck on the edge of the black hole in the center.
Edit: I found my 8 year old video of it :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3kJUS13vpg

0:56 After watching the last video, it feels so weird to see Mario just kill the Koopa.
