Illusion of Gaia...I love hearing anyone and everyone talk about their fondness for that game 😊

I love your videos My Man. Your knowledge of the games is second to none considering your age. I am 56 and been playing games all my life since the 16k ZX Spectrum and still playing now. I remember buying an import Sega Megadrive and importing a little square white PC Engine from a shop in Tottenham Court Road London, think I paid about £300 for an import megadrive with Revenge of Shinobi, and the PC Engine was about £350 with the hu card Galaga 88. Hopefully see you at the next gaming market in London. I was there when you brought the 3DO from Ed Hunts, how you getting on with it. Keep up the great content 👍

Rondo of Blood is a solid choice, still underrated.

Great eclectic list

Great list! I've not played a few of these, including your number one. Also loved the bits of your personal life woven into it all, a reminder that these game experiences continue to shape us even long after our initial time with them :) Thank you for the video!

Sonic Adventure two is brilliant! I do need to play Rocket Knight at some point...

100% agree on the muddy graphics for Burnout. The crisp Sega-Like graphics are just the best, Scud Race, Daytona, stuff like this is so much better visually.

Your number one was my favorite Christmas gift I ever received from my Mom. Received that along with Madden '96. So many hours on both titles.

Great list mate, and not the 'normal' choices which is nice to see.

Just started playing Burn Out 2 on the Game Cube glade it made your list! Top 25 games for 2025...Brilliant!!! My long time friend has never played the Castlevania Rondo of Blood on the Turbo Grafx-16 & in 2024 i brought it over to his house one week for him to check it out! it was like Christmas Break all over again when we were kids as i would go to his house & play the original Castlevania on the NES. Love all your picks...keep it up, 2025 is looking good! Thanks again for the Retro Break!

Great list! Usually these videos consist of games we all know and love it’s good to see a list that’s a bit different from all the rest out there!

There are some great picks here my friend.
I'm also a big fan of Eternal Sonata and Illusion of Time.
If you are looking for a tear jerker, may I suggest Lost Words. Its very well voice acted and has a slightly different game mechanic to most games, it's not a very long game but it will tug at your heart strings.
