173 hours of farming just to get to a level 3x higher than the point where you’ve already ruined the game for yourself and destroyed the concept of builds, dozens of hours past the caps that make the extra levels pointless anyway. Literally just for a number you can say you got to, and then never engage in any meaningful gameplay or decisions with that character ever again. Just stand there staring into the middle distance at gatefront ruins, wielding Hand of Malenia with Giant Crusher in the offhand, wearing full Verdigris armor with light roll, Ranni’s Dark Moon and Minor Erdtree ready to cast at a moment’s notice - and then let the cold reality wash over you that there is absolutely nothing left to do. A true grind for a true connoisseur. Godspeed.

Monk flameblade segment : As an "experienced souls player"
Should we tell him about the shortcut that make this farm 10x faster + allow to avoid all of the darkened ennemis with the right build? (i'm going to ignore the invincibility he have during most of his video XD)

I remember farming two magma blades for dual wield in my first playthrough and it was worth it, I love this weapon

Hardest item for me was the Fire Prelates Helm. For some reason it took me about 5 hours. I had tons of every other piece but no helmet for hours and hours. Bad RNG

yesterday i got a weapon i didnt know existed, so i tested it on the nearby nobles. i got both the estoc and the slender sword from first kill...

My first playthrough lasted about 200 hours with the DLC included. I got one of every weapon (not counting the few that need a ng+ to obtain) and got almost every piece of armor. I can confidently say that the worst grinds were to get the celebrant sickle/rib rake.

Long Tongued Imp Head took sooooo long. And I had the silver tear mask, the silver scarab talisman, silver fowl buff, and silver horn buff, and tholliers garb, still took hours. And what's funny is I have over 1400 hours in on ER. Now farming for the Noble Estoc, you would think I would've got these. I didn't even know they were an armor piece. But the other day I got a pop up box with the word you love to see....NEW. ...it was a pair of shoes, the old aristocrat shoes. I didn't even know they were a thing. But I've killed probably over a million of them dudes.

Except the last 2, I've gotten all of that, the weapons twice

as someone who has a 100% save file with atleast 2 of every weapon none of these route where optimised and those that where are greatly exaggerated

The ribrake rant would make Lavos blush.

"Because if you did, you'd have to do this annoying ass farm"
You underestimate both how lame and how dedicated to drip I am

I've been farming the Cleanrot Spear in Caelid.  I've been doing it for HOURS.  Killing all the Knights hiding in the swamp.  On the up side, I'm getting Trinia's Lillies, so that's good, I guess.

Flashbacks to the time when I farmed 2 magma blades for my Gelmir-only run

I've got 2 magma blades. I didn't even know they were hard to get

max levelling all the spirit ashes would take a bit of grinding as well.

I farmed for the Magma Blade and got the first in like 20 Minutes. "Hey, that's not so bad, let's get a second one!" I said and grinded those dumb-ass lizards for 2 sessions amounting to probably 5 hours without another Magma Blade turning up.  When I restarted for the next grinding session, podcast running and all, it turned up on FIRST EFFING TRY! Probability is just weird.
Dual Magma Blade is pretty badass tho, love that build!

When I went to farm all weapons I didn't knew how crazy is the drop rate in some of these, it makes you question why from would ever put such low drop rates.

Couldn't sleep one night so for the next 2hrs i farmed up 2 magma blades so worth it coz i cooked malenia with them things

00:30 thats a bad spot for farming the noble slender sword, best spot i found is at the way point ruins cellar (where you first meet Sellen) , farm the caravan that spawns there, there are multiple nobles, i had 99 arcane and nagakiba with spinning slash and mawd the crap out of everything that moves, got it in less than 15 minutes

Great video, a lot of effort you deserve more subscribers
