'Imagine your professor used chatgpt to get his masters' my uni lecturer uses chatgpt to generate the assignments he gives us then claims its 'not his job to be creative' when we complain 😐 it is happening i fear

THANK YOU for raising awareness about how GenAI rots your brain. I work in a facility for disabled people and it is strongly encouraged/partly forced upon us to use GenAI for everything "to save time", and almost all of my disabled co-workers are pro-AI. It's rough to see how they are thinking less and less for themselves, barely learning anything new and forgetting how to do things they used to be able to. It pisses me off so much.

16:09 I was crying through the whole description and then "he has something more powerful, autism" made me laugh .

The stepfather is the reason she died no matter what. Whether he killed her or kicked her out, his actions directly lead to her death.

Unbelievable that a clerical error made this case almost forgotton. RIP Linda Marie Pagano ❤❤

"Do not steal credit from my wife" WE LOOOVE a wife guy

I’m currently in university for psychology, and I get concerned every time someone tells me they had ai write their essays. I refuse to even use it to check my grammar, I have others in my life proofread after rereading myself several times. Thank you so much for talking about this because it’s so important today genuinely. My gpa is 3.8 even though I have never used medicine for my ADHD *diagnosed with this, possible autism but diagnosis is hard*… those who I’ve encountered who use ai typically have a gpa so much worse. DO YOUR OWN WORK. IT IS SO MUCH MORE BENEFICIAL TO YOU, I PROMISE. there’s a reason the term “brainrot” exists in regard to ai content. It’s LITERALLY rotting your cognitive abilities.

In my school cheating is rampant and AI has only made it worse. It hurt so much to watch the people in front of me use AIs (they were using two LLMs at the same time 😭) to write not just essays but simple, one-paragraph analyses, especially because my English teachers are genuinely amazing at what they do. They love their craft but the academic stress my school places on everyone (we're a nerdy ass school) means students don't really have the chance to share the same interest in learning. The whole academic system sucks, and the use of AI is just a consequence.

as a disabled person, sometimes ordering food or groceries is the only way i can feed myself. if i could manage to grocery shop and cook every time i need to, i would, ordering in is expensive as hell. The fact that people choose to spend extra money for their food daily purely for the convenience is insane to me

Tbf, on the uber stuff: that's kind of the boots theory. People need to get to their work and don't have 6k to pay on a down payment, but they do have 10 bucks a day. It will be more expensive in the long run and not as good, but well, they're not able to pay that down payment. The whole boots theory is to show how expensive it is to be poor.

I wish more streamers talked about how bad AI of for our brains thx sneeg for talking about this. also another tip for avoiding alzheimer's is by using your non dominant hand for daily tasks. switching it up can help a lot!

8:40 My dentists records show me missing two teeth that I in fact still have so if I'm ever mysteriously killed and left in the forest to decay, only to be found months later I'm pretty much fucked.

15:16
fun fact, andy king (the guy whose zombie house flipping video sneeg reacted to a week or two back) has also been sponsored by morgan and morgan several times. literally could not tell you why, but hey, get that bag ig

I watched this the other day and thought “sneeg should react to this” but I don’t use discord anymore so I couldn’t put it in suggestions, glad someone else recommended it!

I work at a Starbucks, and bro, a lady spent nearly $60 on 12 of our loaves; four pumpkin, four lemon, and four banana nut 😭

I have had these exact thoughts on Generative AI and using it frivolously for education. I found the study PDF, im going to share it around. But you put the perfect words to my thoughts that i couldnt. On top of that, the financial privilege to be able to go to school and then squander it. and privilege of those who dont have mental disabilities like adhd or others, i have almost word for word the experience sneeg does with higher education and undiagnosed mental disability. And i still beat myself up about how stupid i feel. The inadequacy i feel like i dont deserve the degree im currently studying. But im earning it and i do have the knowledge retention so i guess thats something.

21 seconds ago is CRAZY. HEELLOOOOO NEW VIDEO TO WATCH WHILE DRAWING

As some one from Ohio I cracked up laughing at 25:13 for Akron's mispronunciation. I do understand that towns are pronounced differently than spelled and I don't hold anything against the creator but I just found it funny as a local.

AI use by students is one of the largest issues in the classroom rn. :(
