I agree with Kap. Jay-Z is one hundred percent being used to protect corporate interests, and he is a distraction. He diverts attention away from real public discourse and movements that could dissolve systemic issues.

Lines up with what Kraft recenlty did with Ed Sharen and Macklemore.

Well! Colin gave up his career for the betterment of his people! I don’t care what anyone says about him! He more brave than all these cowards!

@RonStarkMack 12 days ago

They are not accusations Joy.
You can find the videos of Eric Reid being interviewed and, Jay-Z claiming "we are past kneeling.'
Jay has picked his lane.
Stay Woke!

Jay Z has been a sellout for years.

Out of nowhere!!
JayZ is in charge of providing halftime entertainment for the Superbowl?!!!
Please tell me how that happened!!
Snoop, ice Cube....
All of s sudden these so called "gangsters" are now in bed with the very people and instutions that they claimed to have opposed !!!!
There is a lot of truth to what Kap has said.
Malcolm X spoke about the rise of "entertainers" as leaders.
He called it out years ago.
It is our greed and self loathing, that allows us as a people to not have solidarity and secum to the people trying to further subjugate and separate us.
Now Shaq enters the fold!!!! 😢
WTF black Americans

Jay-Z made a damn fool of himself.

Two things can be true… I believe in strength and tenacity when the road is not paved with gold. Kap was rebuilding his life. He was barred from what he worked for his entire life. I would give him grace if he couldn’t fully participate with the movement he started. He may have been trying to protect his mental health or working on his lawsuit. I believe him about Hov. If what he’s saying is not true then there would have been a lawsuit for slander upon the release of his book. Let’s see if that happens. I believe that’s why Jay Z was trying to disrespect him at the concert in NYC; that backfired. IMO…

Have absolutely no doubt what Kap is pointing out. Rich folk don’t care about the average period. It’s all about profit and protection control.
Thank you again Joy.

Jay-Z has consistently undermined the black community to line his pockets, most recently with Target. In my opinion, when you look at his historical betrayal of the very people who helped make him a billionaire, the idea that Jay-Z sold out the black community to the highest bidder(s) is fact, not conjecture.

The truth will prevail.

From selling drugs that dulled the minds and souls of Black people (as well as killed Black people) ... to selling rap music that dulled the minds and souls of Black people.

Calling other stadiums venues, i.e. owners to take Macklemore off the stage is collusion, same as what Kaepernick said. It's pretty obvious that these owners are about profits over anything including winning in a lot of cases. Keep the power and keep us paying for their game!

@erikabee5175 12 days ago

Why is it hard to believe Jay Z would throw black people and Kaepernick under the bus???? He's a multi millionaire and will protect his wealth. He was connected to P Diddy (and believe there is more there that just hasn't come out). You seem to under estimate that power and money are often more of a motivator than race.

@Dee-104 12 days ago

We all have eyes. we all see Jay-Z sold Kaepernick out we saw at that press conference Jay-Z say we’re done with kneeling. Kaepernick risk his whole career and the work he’s been doing on the ground speaks to the kind of person he is and people care about someone talking about a Zoom meeting,

@ddjyt2009 12 days ago

Even if Kap did not communicate, it’s easy to understand why. Hard to know who to trust. Other movements were looking to use him in a similar way the NFL wanted to use him. He stood to lose the most and lost the most…he should absolutely slow roll anything to his pace. In fact, he is the better example that anyone anywhere at any time can do their part.

@MrLS77 12 days ago

I'm inclined to believe him.

@ramonajackson189 12 days ago

For Kapernick ** Trust NO ONE~ suspect them ALL**. the Black Community allowed that man to sacrifice his career. No one should have the room to criticize him. 300K Black women 80k Men are unemployed via Trump
