Q&A on this play: 6pm UK Time, Monday 17th - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj3fkeZXfYw

tom managing to mix french, english, spanish, italian and gibberish in one paragraph is truly impressive.

I truly hope people understand how amazing it is to be able to do a whole longform as one scene.

What I love about this one is how low-stakes it feels. The drama in their their personal lives is just background information and ultimately it's two people in a turbulent situation, caring for each other.

no plot, just chaos (in the best way). jane is such a mess, i adore aj's commitment to the bit and john is sooo accepting and kind despite everything, love luke's decision to play him like that. and then there's tom being an absolute menace in the audience

AJ and Luke are really good at the whole awkward-conversation-with-the-stranger-beside-you thing

How is this both a tragedy (Jane's nightmare plane experience) and the most wholesome rom-com at the same time??

If I ever have a bad flight, I'll remember that Jane has had it worse

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When it gives you melons, IMPROVISE

What's even better is that lemons can help stop anxiety attacks, so AJ's character also misheard lemon as melon 😂

Remember guys, if you go to a sfth show, you will risk getting your drink (or haribo's) taken by Tom.

completely unironically, this is a GENIUS idea for a one act play where the entire thing is one scene and the two leads don't move the entire time

2:45 Luke’s confused face AHAHAHAH mentally thinking ‘I’m 98% sure it was LEMONS, not melons.’

I need Luke as the love interest in a Hallmark romcom ASAP

I already thought the whole situation was somehow fever-dream-ish even when it was only Jane and John talking. But the escalation with the air hostess insisting on you pressing the button, stealing drinks and moonwalking through the turbulences when the pilot speaks in tongues is what sends this play into the unpredictable realms of absurd comedy. I LOVED THIS ONE-ACT SINGLE-SCENE MASTERPIECE.

The one who did the transition from “Melons” to “Lemons” seemlessly in the closed captions has my respect, props to them!

"Our first single scene improv play"
A play without any sweeps at all sounds super interesting

This is the most chaotic flight I have ever experienced. I sincerely hope that Jane, John and all the melons, lemons and limes (and oranges?) have been able to recover from that traumatic experience

You wouldn't have THAT kind of entertainment in some posh business class or fancy airlines, you know. This right here is the best advertisement Ryanair could ever have.

Can I just say that I’m lowkey impressed how Luke’s character demeanour changed through his expression. Baby, that’s acting. Is it possible to ask for a sequel??
