It's sad that people are bullying Myrtle's actress. Someone pointed out that her character actually died after being bullied so it's just sad and unfortunately ironic.

Rafe Spall is the son of Timothy Spall who played Pettigrew.

Never realized that we don’t really meet Mr Weasley until the 2nd book.

Damn, Mr Weasley is being played by Wormtails son

God the Colin Creevey death is going to absolutely crush if they keep the actor around for his other appearances post Chamber of Secrets.

In the books, Colin Creevey always came across as a little kid because he was repeatedly described as “very small” or “tiny”—even at sixteen in Deathly Hallows, where the text notes that he looked tiny in death.

I always found it stupid that Colin just stopped existing after COS with no explanation and Dennis was never introduced

I feel so bad for Molly Hetwitt Richards. As I've already seen a number of fat shaming comments on Facebook. Which is kust absolutely disgusting and just proves how cruel some people really are. 😢

I hope that Molly has a great time portraying moaning Myrtle in the TV series. 😊

Moaning Myrtle is a ghost and can't age like the other characters. That's why they cast an older actor and aged her down with makeup and style.

Honestly nowadays people have become weird. No one wants anyone looking human but rather like a model. I hope Molly does not get body shamed. It is her talent that matters!!

The issue with Myrtle is that unlike living students she dosn't age. Meaning she should look the same age in seasons 2, 4 and 6 when she makes her appearances. That doesn't work if you cast a teenager for season 2.

I was wondering about Molly’s age - I get why Myrtle is being played by an adult.

6:30 showing the source material calling the character fat, ugly and miserable — and then immediately saying she's book accurate is low-key hilarious

So far everyone is very book accurate except snape

This is way far off but since the show is fine with expanding stuff from the book i hope we get to see a little more of Myrtle trying to comfort Draco in Half Blood Prince. I always thought that was an interesting moment in the book and i'd like to see it in more detail
