CQC FTW | Resident Evil Knife Only Guide

belkitoFUERTE

A general "nutshell" guide of how to get through the Resident Evil REmake with just the knife, as well as what to expect. Enjoy!

In this video, I run through with Chris, essentially explaining what I do along the way. This is NOT meant for first-time players, but I do hope it entertains all the same. I'm working on user-friendly guides, however.

I love how you keep hitting the pause menu when you meant to bring up the inventory, good to know it isn't just me

Ive never seen the Tyrant slap a missle out of the way. This game is awesome how difficult they can make it especially if you dont lsy your cards right with ammo on hard real survival mode.
I completed it with Jill because of backtracking to item boxes. At the Lab i eventually ran out of shotgun ammo for the Chimeras so i had to improvise using a mix of gernade launcher ammo and precise magnum ammo i was saved for such an occasion. They werent kidding about Baryry's magnum Siilver Serpent able to one shot Tyrant xD

Respect for being a tank control chad.

CQC FTW can still unlock as long as you only use knife to damage the tyrant to the point where Brad drops the rocket launcher even if you take two shots with the rocket launcher to kill Tyrant if the first one deflects you still good and it will unlock.

I'm still watching the video but wanted to pause to make sure I left a comment saying thank you so much for this! So many videos have no commentary at all or the commentary doesn't really explain what you should actually do. Really appreciate this as I am trying knife only for the first time!

(paused at 2:07 to tangent) I wouldn't say it's just stubbornness! Tank controls are better. They don't constantly change with every camera angle. I'd say it's more worthwhile for everyone to just learn them.

Amazing! That helped a lot. I didn’t even know you could skip the giant spider 🙈

Unless I missed you say it, I heard it's also wise to set your defense items to manual just in case. Great straight forward guide BTW! The zombie stairs trick is really quite useful.
