"not every parent wants to be a parent"

Wise words to remember by

Hello !!! My name is chaleigh ... I was born in Russia and when I was  four years old I was adopted  by American mother  I’m very blessed ! ! I have a family where I am loved Thank you for reading

I have been in a Bucharest orphanage until I was 8 years old. When orphanage has been closed I moved to the streets of Bucharest and lived as a homeless child, sleeping here and there but mostly at the station, until I was 14 years old, in 1998, when I traveled illegally to Italy where I was taken in a social community where I stayed until 18 years of age. After that I started to work as a bricklayer and I still work in costructions to this day. I still live in Italy and have wife and kids. I was not one of the lucky ones that have been adopted but, all by myself,  I made it!

my boyfriend came from a Romanian Orphanage...time to go give him the biggest hug i’ve ever given him

My name is stephen. My birth name is ovidiu. I was adopted with my twin from Romania in 1995. Were 26 now and have a pretty good life in America now.

Y’all, absolutely Heartbreaking!! I, got Adopted from Romania, in January 1991, I was born August 1990!! 🥰🥰 And, I’ve lived in Dallas, Texas forever!! Graduated from Texas Tech, and my Dream is working with kids!! ❤️❤️

The saddest part was when he said he missed the orphanage. I pray this young man finds true happiness

Thiose  kids lacks interactions and so they never develop well  and their brain deteriotaed from lack of stimulations...This guy has a very strong spirit.. This is just heart breaking. The stress is extremely bad for our soul. It feels trapped.

In just under a minute of this video, my eye is watering, I want to adopt all this angels.

I found out at age 42 that I was adopted from watching a video of Romanian orphans a co-worker told me about. They were rocking themselves and I had always done that to go to sleep, never heard of anyone else doing it!  Researched my birth and ended up finally finding out. Never would have known without that video!

Heartbreaking report. I can't believe that this is in Europe. There are so many things hidden from general opinion by media and politics. Romania used to be a prosperous country. Politics, dictators and mainly richest individuals have ruined the whole country and reduced its population in this. I feel so sad.

A friend of mine went to Romania often to volunteer in the orphanages. A brave woman. She wanted to adopt some of these children but was not allowed to. Heartbreaking.

I was adopted In. 1995. I can't begin to say how lucky I was. My orphanage was one of the few that cared about the orphans. Especially Roma. I'm Roma. We have much harder time being loved or accepted even as abandoned children.

It makes me feel so lucky, to have grown up in a loving and comforting family

My boyfriend was born in Romania in 1989 and was adopted at the age of 2 or 3. After watching this clip for the first time a year or so ago, as well as the clip of a couple adopting little Lucy-Lou from China, I have REALLY set the idea in my head for me and my partner to adopt from China and/or Romania in a few years' time <3

No love no hugs no talks with Dad or laughter with Mom.. I cry for these little ones alone in the world.. I have a prayer for them..

Romania should do more for orphan children :-(

It was very sad when international adoption from Romania is closed off. It is essential that children are in a lovely home from as young as possible. There are so many people who desperately want children.

In November 1995, my daughter Pepa came home from Sliven Bulgaria. She is 28 now our lives haven blessed beyond measure !!!!

The rocking and the children's game after were absolutely haunting. Like horror movie material.
