NOO why did you eat EVERY pizza in the world? Now there's none left for the rest of us 😭

Brazilian here and honestly I was shocked by how honestly pretty good Josh's pronunciation of the words was! He did the R's right and everything so good job, buddy. Also, I want pizza now and it's like 8 am.

Brazilian pizza is incredible - not just because of the catupiry, but also because they typically overload the toppings to an insane amount.
A Brazilian pizza rodizio is something that everyone needs to try.

Appreciating the honesty in the title

Brazil winning over Argentina and making into this video is the best treat this channel could ever give to brazilians. It's not even about showing our pizzas, it's about defeating Argentina

Brazilian linguist here. Your pronunciation is 10/10. And you'd be amazed by how diverse pizza can be. (for good and bad)

"i should eat this while its hot" proceeds to have a whole power point for every pizza

@vicpc55 2 months ago

Your Portuguese pronunciation is actually pretty good (outside of the ã, but nasal vowels are the hardest Portuguese sound for every foreigner I've met)

Josh, as a Brazilian and great admirer of your work I must warn you. Do-not-come-to-Brazil.
The moment you decide to anthony bourdain the shit out of us, you're not leaving, I can guarantee.
You have the intelectual curiosity, gastronomical restlessness and sheer charisma that would you make you blend in forever, people might not be able to find you again if you come.

Do-not-come.

17:24 as a Brazilian this is pretty accurate, just that we would put tomato sauce before the cheese or any filling, but in general it's pretty accurate 🎉

Josh got me looking at ovens that cost as much as my mortgage at 6am going "maybe if i bought a pizza oven i'd be a different kind of person, one who makes pizza"

frango com catupiry is probably the least controversial pizza in Brazil, in the sense that if you're ordering for a bunch of people and you need to choose a single topping, that's probably your best bet. also, "rodízio" (and you said it mostly right, like "ho-deez-yo") is just the format of waiters coming with different dishes, so you can have a barbecue/churrasco rodízio where they're bringing meat, or a pizza rodízio where it's pizzas, probably someone out there already invented idk, ice cream rodízio haha. but if you just say rodízio without specifying anything it's understood to be churrasco

As an Armenian I would LOVE to thank you for your honest and educated history background about Lahmajo, although I can't deny that I am glad you gave this to Armenia. Thank you for this video - it was lovely!

Aight as a Kiwi I was gonna say thats not a kiwi pizza, you have to go for the infamous Tinned Spaghetti Pizza, however I will accept the Hells Hangi Pizza

@andy852456 2 months ago

Your portuguese is actually spot on

Brazilian viewer here and you for sure didnt need to apologize! It was very good pronunciations even for "rodizio" that I believe its very hard for english speaker. 👏👏
