I think Activision should have a separate studio that makes modern warfare games with large maps and fast ttk to differentiate between the other studios. Oh shit. They did have it. 😢

Bro is never getting invited again 😢

The part that worried me was it took them 4 years to develop this. They thought it would be a better idea to put emphasis on menus and hip fire spread and try to reinvent those basic systems instead of more meaningful gameplay improvements such as maps or movement. It just feels rushed when this was their chance to do a large reset like mw2019 and try something different instead of trying to mimic the modern iw games.

I canceled my pre order after playing the beta.

I get texture streaming is good for those with limited storage but at least give is the option to store all textures locally. Options are good.

The only way for CoD to change is for CoD to fail. This is necessary.

I appreciate what you said on Twitter about IW changing MW4 so much and rug pulling the whole experience their fan base was expecting it because of the pressure and influence these COD content creators have, they exploit their influence to get whatever they want every year, apparently BO6,7,1,2 isn't enough for them, they also need to change MW4 to please them too, they're a fucking mafia of the COD community, thank you for standing up for the rest of us

The only thing that separates casual play (pubs) from competitive play (ranked) is SBMM. Its existence in both makes casual play unplayable.

Feels like two games. They're tryna balance for Warzone and Multiplayer at the same time, but those should be treated as two completely separate entities.

EXCELLENT commentary my man. Very insightful. Thanks for all the hard work!

At least they got on with that baiting and switching very early instead of how they would around season 3 or 4 in past games.

CoD should never prioritize graphics over gameplay. 120 FPS should be their priority at all time, NOT texture quality. At the end of the day its cod, WE DONT CARE HOW REAL it looks! Just make it look loke Bo2 at this point if it will run at 1080p 120fps with no pop-ins!!!!

Very good summary of the problems and how they compound. I was never going to buy this game for a variety of reasons, but the game is not made for me. In the beta they made changes I like, but that doesn't move the needle for me. And now it seems like they've made a game for no one... instead of leaning into the MW style.

"The best thing you can be is yourself." Yeah, I assumed they'd stick to their guns. But nope. I'm pretty shocked, especially given it's IW. Drastically changing the TTK in a game that wasn't designed for that is wild. I don't want to say that doesn't mean they know what they're doing, and I can understand why they might feel pressured to make the change. But the game wasn't designed with that in mind. Your MW fans weren't expecting that. And now the balance is all over the place.

Weird to say I'm proud of you, but I am. It's crazy seeing a dumb kid with great understanding and thoughts on CoD grow up, get invited to play privately, and then stick to his morals when things don't pan out.

This perfectly captures my thoughts on the game after second week of beta, lowky got depressed after the changes in second week.

I'm so glad you brought up the slow TTK. Everyone is saying the TTK is super quick, but I get hit markers till the mag is dry.

You are the best cod youtuber I've watched since I can remember, unlike others that just stick to a mob echo chamber. You don't care about going against it to tell your honest thoughts, even when flown out by Activision.

I, too, am disappointed in the over correction from MWII (the spooky devil game that should not be named. It HUNTS try hards in their dreams) i was scared they were going to ditch the lessons they learned with that game, and just copy treyarch again.. like with infinite warfare

And it seems it is so.. "the more things change, the more they stay the same."

Here's hoping they stick back to their original vision, or at least get to some kind of balance

Cause I don't want to play movement shooter game again for the third year with cheesy bunny hops and sliding around.

I randomly stumbled on your page during the BO7 launch.... little did I know how dope your vids are, keep up the good work bro!

Stickerbush Symphony as the bgm? Good taste my good sir

Nerfing the crap out of the guns to fix the ttk made the guns feel like pea shooters and the hit reg felt off and player visibility got me killed alot of time because I couldn't see them in some places of the map and sbmm in classic and open felt the same and removing tac sprint from the base movement speed without adjusting base movement to compensate for no tac sprint felt off.

7:45 yea that TTK is crazy
