I wish we had the OG MW2 maps in MWII, I would still be addicted to the game to this day and wouldn't yearn for a new, proper MW title.

I couldn’t stand how goofy the strong attachments looked and how progressively more stupid the game looked with skins and cartoon maps

it's so annoying how they rebalanced all the MWII guns and attachments but only for Warzone it was such an unnecessary tease

I respect iw for having a coherent vision that they finally reached with mw2022, where you play slow, think about the gunsmith while still being far more casual than full tactical shooters like tarkov.
I hate mw2023 because they decided to abandon the vision and just do 2019, but worse

Boom you're so right, that's so silly

The one thing NO OTHER Call of Duty WILL NEVER top this game, is content variety. +126 weapons not including conversion kits, +40 optics and attachments.
No gatekeeping classics unlike Infinity Ward adding the classic COD4 Red Dot Sight, the actual ACR instead of "something similar" like they always do.

This game's content will forever be unmatched and is the best new COD experience for sure.

Boom have you seen that new campaign trailer? Looks insane man. I’m so hyped for it

Mw3 2023 is my favorite

Haven't vibed with Cod since mw19 and fell out of love for zombies in CW but my friend wanted me to play bo6 with him and I fell back in love with bo7 in both multi-player and zombies and now that Mwiii was free on Ps Plus I've been grinding hard on both multi-player and Mwz using all guns and my favorites are the M13B/C and the Spas12 in both zombies and multi-player

Sledgehammer was given a layup after MW2, and no original launch maps, they had their work cut out for them

only thing MW III has over MW II  is the maps  and when they added cell base  maps and skins.. I had enough,  went back to MW II and never left  .

MW1 is a masterpiece imo, while mw3 is great, it misses some of the authentic battlefield sense that mw1 has.
The explosions and even the lightening on maps in mw1 is just so much better.

Out of the reboots this is by far the most fun to play it's fast paced fun weapons including after market parts tac stance builds or just flipping between aim styles with a shotgun and sledge hammer was smart enough to add a kill/score streak toggle so I can switch depending on the mode I'm playing and the post launch support was the greatest we've ever seen. The vest system was a nice change wasn't perfect but is more fun that just standard non pro perks and the awful perk changing system IW came up with. I wish they would have buffed the carry over weapons a bit more and reworked there attachments because even in the game they were meant to be in they were still pretty bad with way too many negatives and sledge hammer took a page out of IW and made the snipers way to easy to use and obviously the EOMM was pretty frustrating at times but other than that by far the best MP out of any MW reboot

I  am the person who bought MWIII entirely after its lifecycle, halfway through BO6 after XDefiant shut down in June. I never played MWII and was absolutely overwhelmed with this game and still have no idea what I should be grinding for. Honestly I’d watch a “Top 20 Unlocks” video for this game in a heartbeat. I’m sure it’s as fun as everyone says it is but I always feel like I’m behind the ball and suffering because of it.

I know this will sound really pathetic but when I tried out MW3 towards the end of its life cycle, I got overwhelmed by how much stuff there was. Not just two games worth of guns, attachments, gear. But the ways you had to unlock the attachments, streaks and gear, it really was a bit too much. Ultimately I just stuck with the ACR and played until I got to level 25 and then put the game down - partly because my Gamepass was ticking down and partly because it seemed like a lot to go through just to equip something like ghost lol

Almost inaudible footsteps.

The Modern COD game I would play would be a bit more tactical but still arcadey.

+ Limited sprint with a generous ramp-down that transitions slowly into a jog and then eventually your base walking speed if you keep sprinting.

+ When you sprint, your character actually sounds like they are running and not a silent terminator. The longer you sprint out your characters stamina you start to hear huffing and puffing from their staggered breathing. You stop moving, your character catches their breath quickly and is ready to go at it in seconds!

+ Corner slicing and some QOL from MW4

+ map based Factions are back and your weapon + your loadout build type determines your characters looks (which can be personalized and customized within reason).

+ Strong Selection of various weapons, only like 4 or 5 universal optics, each weapon has a defined role plus 3 exclusive attachments (kind of like apex attachments) that really open up a guns potential.

I want Call of Duty® to be grounded with some reasonable logic again. Make me bridge the gap and believe in what I’m playing otherwise I don’t give a shit what the setting is.

My favorite Call of Duty. Top things I would change to make it even better.

1.) Move all MW2 maps over. Didn't care really for the weapon carry forward but I love to have tons of maps so I wish would have carry forward ALL MW2 maps
2.) Remove Cluster Mines or make it to where when you shoot the main one the rest blow up. Every match I am in end game every where is covered and annoying.
3.) Add specialist killstreak
4.) Nerf the Static-HV
5.) Remove all attachments that are essentially duplicate or just get rid of Gun Carry forward

Yeah fully agree, I love MWIII but the carry forward was so poorly done and the TTK change was forced in despite half of the guns being balanced around a completely different game.

I liked mw3 but omg is half the maps on them is small and is way to clean.
