I started my first journal 14 months ago and you, Wendy, are the first journal video artist I ever watched and who inspired me to do so. I had always avoided art because I was discouraged at school. I can't tell you how grateful I am for changing that. Now I draw, paint, write or collage in my 'treasure book' every day. It helps me so much on darker days as well as providing surprise and delight. Thank you for being so generous with sharing your time and knowledge. 🙏

I started painting 18 years ago, after a postnatal depression. I still do it, and love it. I thank God for the gift. I now help teenagers. I love what you do, I will start doing it also. ❤

I photocopy old book pages and distress them...maybe tea or coffee dye them….and use them in my journal.

Dear Wendy. In the last days I watched A LOT of your videos. I am feeling so blessed that I found you. In this time I am admidst a deep depression....to hear your words, to see your art work is like sunshine for my soul. You light up my mood. I love your authenticity and the way you go through your struggles. That motivates me to keep on....till my light will be shine again. Thank you so much, you amazing soul!

Peaceful greetings to you. I just found your channel. I really love this video. I’m a senior lady and made a decision a year ago to stop watching news and instead start journaling. I used to feel anxious after watching local and world news. So this has been a greeting healing tool for me. I’m not artistic like you, but all your ideas are doable and inspiring. I’m a retired calligrapher but I’m dusting off my nibs and ink pots and getting back to work! Thank you!!! 🕊️🙏🫶

So inspiring! I’ve been having a terrible awful bad day—so many situational stressors that I feel like my head is going to explode. But this video has shifted my mood. I find your very existence comforting! Those journals are seriously amazing. You are incredibly gifted at self-care and at utilizing art therapeutically. So much goes into those journals; seems to just pour out of you. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing your gifts and wisdom.

I love that your journal is all handmade and has repurposed items and your own work. It's not filled with expensive stamp sets or stencils and purchased ephemera.

… I was traumatized as a child when trying to do my art. True husbands ridiculed my attempts. … I am now trying to heal and create and this is a great way to do it. I’m so happy I happened upon your channel. Thank you bright blessings to you and yours …🥰🙏🏻

I am copying these ideas down on a paper, planning on putting it in a tuck spot or pocket in my journal, treasured and safe for those times when i need help from my muse 😉! Such a generous compilation of ideas, and the loveliest way to let us see a flip-through of your journal. We may all have visits from our personal muses, but this proves to me that you are a muse to us all. May joy, energy, and blessings envelop you, and may your muse be generous with you, and the fairies continue dance, and invite their friends. Much love, gentle hugs, and glorious light to inspire always ❤️🧡💛🩵💜
