THIS IS THE YEAR OF LEAKS

Back when Slipknot was mysterious and scary as hell.

Every drum track recorded at Indigo Ranch has an amazing sound. The drum sounds on the first Korn and Slipknot records are ethereal. My two favorite metal albums were produced by the same guy in the same studio in the same decade

ross robinson is on another level. he is not only just the producer, HE IS THE MEMBER of each record, that he is making. redeemer, self titled slipknot, Iowa, three dollars bill, i can go on endlessly about other records.. i love how he is throwing his whole body across the room. not sitting behind computer.

I love how the self-titled recording sessions were just one giant mosh-up, recorded.

“How come there’s only 9 of you? Doesn’t that cut the pay check down a bit.”
Joey “Absolutely. It’s not all about the money 💰”
Respect.

I remember downloading some of the Indigo Ranch videos on Kazaa around 2004/2005.
The Surfacing videos where joey is beating the hell out of those drums were amazing! Never thought I'd see it again.
Also, The one where Mick is playing the chorus and headbanging was titled "dimebag jamming to surfacing"...The good ol' days where we couldn't see the people's faces clearly...lol

2:05 unmasked Craig

That album must have been painful to make, those guys had energy nobody even dreamed of. To tour like that every day of the year, Jesus.

How fuckin sick it would have been, if Slipknot only released two Records and then disappear and no one would ever know who they were.

0:12 selftitled panda

joey: "its not all about the money" , crazy to hear in 2026

10:33 one of the most intense headbanging to date

Holy shit, Cuddles footage @ 11:40. Not sure if I've ever seen that before. Thanks for uploading!

When they’re all in the booth during the indigo sessions, I got legit goosebumps seeing that! You could feel the energy just through the screen regardless of how pixilated it is. That’s how you know these dudes had magic making that and it definitely showed. What a treat seeing that🤘🏼⚡️

3:11 fast and solid double bass

12:05 that SIC tempo MAAAAAN Would love to see that whole show!

Clown being worried about pirating WAY before Spotify and SoundCloud is adorable
