Joey was the absolute best drummer in metal and this interview with Sid was incredible. I always said that he was the weirdest member and he confirmed it lol

Sid is my favorite member. Hands down. I gave him a Psycho Movie shirt when I met him back in 2000, after Slipknot played a sold out show, as a gift for teaching me & a few of my friends how to DJ & scratch vinyl when we met him at OzzFest '99 after Slipknot played. He had some guys from their road crew set up his decks & speakers at their merch tent & let anyone who bought merch scratch on his turntables. I took a really big interest in it because I was big into electronic music & he gave me about an hour long crash course on how to properly dj vinyl. I'll never forget it because it was the first music lesson I ever got from a big rockstar.
Imagine getting a free guitar lesson from DIMEBAG back in 1990. That's how it was to me.

I love the way he spoke on Joey's drumming! RIP SUPERBALL!

Sid has always been the more interesting person in the band.

I found no ego and just a chilled guy

Here after Sid Wilson got fired from Slipknot. Should rename Slipknot "Clown- show"

Corey still mad about that camera

Sid saying “therapy is important, I gotta make sure they get it” is so real.. slipknots chaos has always been my therapy.thank you guys.

dood this guy is legendary i love slipknot 26 years later and i can relate to Sid so much being in hiphop and still jamming pure sludge slam metal lol

“Im the craziest mother fucker in your band and I’m not even here yet”

Much love to Joey, Paul, Chris and Craig.. the band hasn't been the same without you. Self titled literally got me through the worst 3 years of my childhood. I've got everyone tattooed on me, including "Maggot" and the tribal S. I have to say, Sid is definitely telling the truth here about him being a true showman.. I had the blessing of meeting him and getting his autograph.. I'll never forget me and my buddy being the second and third in line and when I tried talking to Sid past one sentence the security guard started acting like a dick and said while starting to shove me: "There's no time for this shit, you got your autograph now get moving!".. Sid jumped up from his wheelchair and yelled out "HOLD THE FUCK UP!".. he then asked me to finish what I was saying and shook my hand and gave his thanks. I don't think I'll ever forget that moment.

I wonder if SlipKnot fired Sid because Corey was mad about the "shit on the tour bus" story?

Good Sid shared what he did. Hes shared the most about joey so far in an official interview. And he was very clever and smart how he said it. It was a semi hint but without directly stepping on anyones toes. Helps to hear his contribution.

Of course Corey shits on the bus 😂

I especially like where he's talking about the obligations he feels to stay with what he's doing on stage because he recognizes that for many, the show is their release from the world. A world where maybe they feel lost and for a couple of hours they can feel as though their feet are planted exactly where they are meant to be and they belong. And he has the receipts to back up his commitment to staying in character. Man broke his feet and didn’t stop. He's a machine on stage and a true artist. Love Sid and hope that he's not actually gone from Slipknot forever.

Big hearts for these crazy guys lol, I respect that

7:37 No lie, I heard Copeland say it in an interview. Blew my mind that he said it too

This is the best rock and roll interview I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you Sid, you are the real deal and have always been someone to look up to

R. I. P Joey and Paul 😢

Since '99, when I first heard Slipknot, my name in multiplayer games has always been Sid Wilson.

Sid's always been my favorite member, his energy in the early days was unmatched. He made the live performances. Never forget seeing him live in Pittsburgh right after he broke his feet. Still killed in the wheelchair. Slipknot's not gonna be the same without #0....
