In college I made a solar motorcycle out of an old Honda, an electric motor, and 4 deep cycle marine batteries. We had 2 solar panels that folded out on each side. It was inefficient and mostly silly but very fun to build.

That is an incredible little solar e scooter ! It's really impressive that with only 60 minutes it charges to 80 percent ! So if you are on the road and it's sunny with no plugs along the way , you could basically do much more ! Awesome !

That's pretty cool. I saw someone had recently snapped photo of Adam riding along on this and uploaded it to socials, and when I saw it I immediately recognized Adam but I figured that this was something he'd made for himself, because let's face it this is right up his alley... It looked like the wheelbase was a bit long to me at first but Adam didn't seem to have any issue.
