Stacey, you have one of the kindest sounding voices. I genuinely love everything I've seen you in.

The ladies who do the presenting are great on here, they explain everything and are very empathic!

The team writing to every Jill was incredibly touching. The effort they went to to find her for this kind man was magnificent.

My son did a DNA online kit thing, on my 60th I found out who I've called dad from birth is not my real father, I was devastated 😢 I could quite literally have lived the rest of my days NOT knowing, it has pulled me apart.
These tests aren't always a happy ending!

My great grandfather was from York, England, and he was very dark-eyed and olive skinned. He migrated to Australia as a young man, and married a blue-eyed and fair skinned Danish widow who had also migrated. Some of their children were like him, and some were fair and blue-eyed like their mother.

I had a relative born with polycystic kidney desease. She had to have very strong medicine and had lot of hurts from birth to adult. She was such a kind, nice and beautiful woman. Her father died before she was born and she followed him when she was in her early 30th by accident. So sad.
My friend was pregnant with a boy that had the same desease. He was delivered in his 5th month, because he was not able to live. She was so sad and her husband and daughter, too. They tried again and got a healthy boy, a beautiful child. Now the family is complete and they are so happy.

interesting for Clare. I married a 'dark' guy, so dark that Australian Aboriginial people call him 'brother' and African descent people told me he was a 'hidden' as in there was 'black in our family'. 2 of my three kids have his colouring and my son has been confused by Arabs and Lebanese who speak the language to him before realising he isn't 'one of theirs'. When he was at school the kids would tease him and call him 'mohammed' and as an adult he is called "MO' for fun. He did his DNA and we expected to see somthing there.. some kind of asian or arabic connection, but nope (and he was born iwth a blue spot on his back), he is actually pure british/Irish and on his fathers side they are from Yorkshire, so yep the Yorkies can be pretty dark.

Yo me lo hice y descubrimos que mi bisabuelo tuvo algo en Francia a principios del siglo XX. Viajó a Francia desde España a trabajar enterrando muertos. No he podido hablar con ellos.

There are some complexities in DNA that could truly cause major missteps. I read of a woman whose children’s DNA were those of a sister. They conjecture that this woman had absorbed her twin’s uterus and eggs.
