Todays vlog is how I take my fine art long exposure photography and post processing the images

Join me on a visit to my local beach at Hornsea where I will walk you through my workflow on how I shoot my long exposure Fine Art Images. Conditions were very challenging with bright blue sky, not a cloud to be seen which is the normal for seascape photography.

I will also be showing you how I do my Post Processing Fine Art digital workflow using‪@AdobeCreativeCloud‬ Lightroom Classic for cataloging my images and doing the first stage of clean up followed by using‪@Photoshop‬ and Camera Raw for better selections, Content-Aware Fill and Layers to remove horizons and replacing sky's etc.

Wow just wow Pete.. You make it look so easy.. I can honestly say if it was that easy we would all be doing it ;).. And thank you for giving us such a detailed incite into how you edit your images.

Brilliant video. Thanks mate. It would be great if you could slow down the post processing as numpties like me need a lot of explaining. It would be good too, if you could just explain why you do certain actions. Thanks again. I will just keep rewatching it until some of it sticks!!

Hi, I watched with intrigue to see what you could make of this " harsh light, blue sky" scene.
I'm a great fan of "fine art" and practice it myself. Replacing the sky completely in this case didn't do it for me. The perspective looked wrong and the causeway/stones appeared to be floating over the image. I would have waited for a cloudy day and processed a more natural scene. But that's just me. I find that multiplication layers with varying opacity work really well with clouds. As usual though with this kind of thing it's "horses for courses". All very subjective. Thanks for sharing.

Nice video! I picked up a few new techniques-many thanks, but I’m really interested in how you use your iPhone as a monitor and, control of the camera too, I think. Can you elaborate on this a bit. Thanks!
