Spoiler Alert. Melvin Purvis never arrest Vern Miller. Miller, as the only identified gunman in the Kansas City massacre, was found beaten and strangled to death shortly after the incident. But good story.
If anyone is interested there is a sign outside of Union Station KC that was recently erected, on the day that massacre happened. They posted the sign near a couple bullet holes that chipped the marble off the day that it happened, i always take a look at it before i ever use Amtrak
You know it's a great movie when it goes through the logos of three different failed video distribution companies from the early 80s before the film even starts.
I've been a thirties gangophile and had never heard of this... Pretty boy Floyd was always portrayed as minor bank robber with a larger than life persona
The train station is called union Station not union plaza station and the shoot out happened inside the train station not outside you can still see the bullet holes from the shoot out if you're from Kansas city you can tell this movie wasn't made in kansas city
