Why couldn’t Darth Vader let go of Obi-Wan Kenobi?

Even after the fall of the Jedi and the rise of the Empire, one name continued to haunt Vader more than any other… Obi-Wan Kenobi.

In this Star Wars story, we explore Vader’s disturbing obsession with the man who was once his master, brother, and closest ally. From the burning sands of Mustafar to the shadows of the Empire, Vader is consumed by a need not just for revenge… but for closure.

Was it hatred?
Was it guilt?
Or something far more tragic?

This cinematic Star Wars fan film dives deep into Vader’s mind, revealing the emotional scars that never healed and the connection he could never escape.

I didn't know Sidious was also Vader's therapist

I actually agree with Sidious on this. Kenobi is a huge distraction and Sidious told him that he won't be able to get stronger when his mind isn't on getting stronger. Sidious said a lot of things that are/were true. And people have said that Sidious wouldn't have been that patient to listen to Vader whining that long. Sidious is one of the most patient people in Star Wars. But Vader wouldn't listen to Sidious

Ironic that Sidious listens to Vader when all along he is the reason why his apprentice is incapacitated. What a cruel fate for Anakin.

Obi Wan living rent free in Vader's head. Awesome work as usual.

Darth sidious is one hell of a antagonist

Now THIS was worth the watch. Sidious instructing Vader. Sith master and Sith apprentice. And I didn’t cringe once. Nice!!

Would absolutely love to see Shadows of the Empire scenes made by you, seeing Prince Xizor and his machinations brought to life would be epic.

I really prefer this version of the relationship of Vader and Palpatine.. the Disney comics make him an abusive disrespectful master punking out Vader … yours seems more of a team of Master and Apprentice

After this scene, the duel in new hope where Kenobi just vanishes is so much greater.

This sounded like a father and son conversation. Teaching the young man how to grow and rule the galaxy.

Vader and Sidious the greatest villains we have seen in Star Wars

“Whatever…Nerd” 😂. It always gets me.

Disney canon. Vader knew nothing of Kenobi still being alive until he sensed his presence on the original Death Star.

In the Star Wars novels Palpatine would have been very irrated about with the topic of this conversation much less entertain it . For Palpatine he felt it was fitting that the Jedi cower and hide from them , the Sith as the once hid in secrecy for a millenia. Palpatine instead focused his time and energy on consolodating his new Empire and felt that Vader's obsession to hunt down Kenobi the Jedi was Vader's short sightedness and a clear sign that Vader has not fully let go of Anakin not fully embracing the dark side .
