Grandfather and I , when we caught enough fish, would fillet them, put the fillets in a container, fill that with seawater, ( the grandparents lived on Lake Mac on the waterfront) and put it in the freezer. You would think they were fresh caught, the way they tasted when caught.
Thanks for that Dave. My local stretch of coast in Adelaide is somewhat known for beachworms & yellowfin whiting. Going to give it a crack, but was searching for a good way to preserve them - thankyou! I was contemplating just layering them in dry salt & to make worm jerky, like those Dynabait ones they sell. This looks way better. Anyway, subscribed!
Nice work mate. Which beach did you get those worms? Always struggled when I lived in Newy. Bit spoilt up here in qld now. Can go down the beach and get ya limit pretty easy.
