Thanks Derick

Ace bud 👌

And clean the electrodes with a small brass brush

“How are some engineers doing 6–7 boiler services a day? I service boilers properly like you’re supposed to, and mine normally take 1–2 hours including paperwork.” P.S I like the look of that analyser

Terminal guard stainless?

Great video , in the standing presssure what u measure was 37mb is that should be around 47mb as 37mb plus or minus 5 is working pressure

Thanks for the video Derek, interesting video. Got my first acs gas exam next week, I probably shouldn’t be looking at LPG may only confuse me 😊 but I do want to learn LPG later on.  Been watching many of your videos for revision, so thank you!!!!

Hi

Yeap i think im the only one that checks these condensate drains, as customers say that has never been checked 😂 even from dare i say BG 😉

How can you doa gas rate

How did you service the shock arrestor? Do you do flue intergriry test?

Have the regs changed on manometer tube we have always been told it must be black tube for LPG. ?

Checking water with a turbidity tube from the top of the rad, doesn't prove a lot.. I have seen many heavily contaminated systems that would pass that test, any sediment will have sunk to the bottom of the rad ( assuming the heating is off)
Better to run the system, pull off a bit from a doc then another to put in test tube..
But I'm a bit anal with my services 😅

Nice video Derick. Some real idiots in the comments section . Either non gas people, or " engineers" that should know better!

Noticed you connected to the inlet on the gas valve but didn’t mention anything about turning off and burning off beforehand even though it’s LPG , did you turn off then burn off first ?

You’ve turned the gas off, open burner up, cleaning the burner with vacuum cleaner…. If the gas tap letting by and you sucking gas into your vacuum cleaner. What will it happen? Will this be the last boiler you touch?
