Fantastic tribute to the master musician, Sri K V Narayanswamy! That 1968 Sindhubhairavi is really something else! As you said, there is no strain when he reaches the upper octaves! And the breath control!! Lovely way to end the demostration with Ramalinga Swamigal's composition, Kallarkum Katravarkum. How well KVN had handled it! Was also nice to hear Sri Sankaran’s recollections especially about the 1962 season concert. Hope a recording is posted soon!

I had the good fortune to be there at the presentation. It was like a KVN mama's concert. Beautifully presented,   subtle yet deep, and enormously rivetting and engaging. Leaving you wanting more in the end!

A big thank-you to Mr Srivatsan for a wonderful tribute to his guru and all our favourite musician Sri KVN mama. We remember Sri KVN mama with great devotion on his centenary. He will live forever in our hearts.
