the feeling when we all got introduced to gregory horror show by a compilation of judgement boy clips

The creator later went on to create two kids shows with the same art style: Pecola (which was also made in Canada in 2001) and Midnight Horror School (which aired on 2003 and has no English dub but there is an English sub that's currently ongoing)

Also Cactus Gunman, Roulette Boy, James, Hell's Chef and Gregory Mama did get their original voices back for the first game

One thing I don't like about the game is the guests (except TV Fish) who give you their souls will still chase you and give you a Horror Show even though it's said that they'll do it if you steal it

Ok just want to pefice this by saying that as a chilld i was OBSESSED with soul collector, i spent hours in that game spying on all the guests and figuring out their routines. I dont know why but this sort of time loop really excites a specific part of my brain even to this day and so im thrilled to see it get the recognition it deserves.

In defence of judgement boy, if you listen in on people youll find out that gregory is upset becuase his book went missing, spying on james will tell you that he stole it and then hid it in catherine's room, from there after returning the book, gregory will reccom9end you check the library where the self help book is.

For gunman, james' diary ( in the managers office) tells you about james pulling the same prank you do to get his soul, and all the guests talk about 'doing something three times'

For tv fish, you can spy on the guests to learn when it appears in the basement, or to learn that the jukebox in the bar is having some kind of error, if you go and whack it, tv fish will show up in the bar making its soul so much easier.

For angel dog, if you just go and chill in the lounge instead (anytime after 3 as catherine will be in there until then) when angel dog shows up, you can keep scaring her out of the room until gregory shows up, making it much easier to get her soul.

Overall i agree that there are some flaws but taking the time to spy on the guests as they are on their routines will not only let you know where they will be at that time all the time, but also provide so many helpful hints towards the souls.

Side note but we really need a sequel or spiritual successor to soul collector, the day i find out about one i will be overjoyed.

7:22 I think the metaphorical meaning of Clock Master ties into the meaning of Judgement boy, he represents the Main Characters desire to turn back time and make the right decisions this time, to live a good life instead of an easy one

I used to think that this was the most obscure capcom horror game but then I learned about "the glass rose" (please let the record show that I said obscure and not good thank you your honor)

Dang, is it just me, or did this series suddenly blow up in popularity? I've been seeing more reviews for it now more than ever. Seeing one of this length though definitely peeks my interest. I'll definitely have to watch through it in order to say more.

i really want this game to be a massive hit to and maybe it will revive the series once more and we will have a lot more Gregory to watch and play in the future once we show everyone that even after all this time there are still people that care about this horror show. this is our chance to bring it all back and i have hope it will work, also amazing video

Last Train and Bloody Karte might be very divisive seasons for the more toned-down horror/mystery elements and the questionable continuity, but I personally still enjoy them for the character studies and world-building. While Gregory and Catherine definitely aren’t good people, it’s interesting to see them still show some traces of humanity despite their twisted mindsets.

Gregory obviously has some unresolved issues from his mother’s abuse, yet he displays a strong paternal instinct with other kids besides James (Mummy Dog, Lost Doll, Sleepy Sheep, etc). As for Last Train’s themes of ambition, I always viewed it as Gregory coming to terms with his role at the hotel and finding his own reasons to keep managing it outside of his Mama’s control.

With Bloody Karte, I get the sense that Catherine was a very sexually frustrated woman in her past life, with her desires for love distorting into a literal blood lust as she used her skills as a nurse to punish men who rejected her (basically a mix between a Yandere and a femcel). However, I do find it weirdly wholesome how she’s apparently friends with Gregory Mama as they go to singles parties together; and how she becomes sort of an older sister/mentor to Cactus Girl near the end of the season.

My life would have been very different now had I not found the PS2 game when i was like 8 and developed a lifelong obsession with Gregory Horror Show.

The games pretty fun, so sad I didn't get to finish it, but I adore the little show as well! Nice to see someone talk about it!

GREGORY HORROR SHOW MENTIONED LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOO🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I LOVE Gregory Horror Show!! More people need to watch this video!

SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE BEING REMINDED OF BALDI WITH THE GAME !! (( as a big baldi fan whos just gained an interest of this series recently, also you randomly mentioning it jumpscared me lol ))

Don’t currently have time to watch the whole video but uuuuuhhh Judgement Boy is pretty fucking cool.

19:58 my favorite season is Season 2: The Second Guest.

I actually enjoy how none of the endings are happy. It fits well for a physiological horror to hammer home the idea of how hard reality is for those who struggle. Honestly as someone who’s been through a lot it spoke to me and kinda hit me light a freight train.
Idk I also enjoy all of judgment boys designs other than the most recent game that was dookie. I could give opinions on his manga design but I have nothing appropriate to say about it

I just finished the video! Thank you for shining a spotlight on one of my favorite series!! Also I had no idea the new game was a rogue-like, that's badass 😂 I can't wait to check out the rest of your content!!

This show is just so good I sometimes can't believe it's real

I wish Neko Zombie came back :<. I love himz :3

1:47:37 also you are trying to help Greggory house whereas he wants to help people escape this stopping the house so it makes sense
