Great example of Barts’s best pro tip, if the nuts changes on the river and they fire a big bet quickly it’s likely a bluff

Snap all ins on nut changing rivers are so incredibly often bluffs at low-mid stakes live poker, I was begging him to call while you were asking him not to! 😂

20:12 In my defense, my thought process was more weighted to my local population (west central Florida) and the stakes that I play (lower than 5/5). When people hit hands on the river OOP, they are afraid of missing value by having the IP player check back. I would say the number of times I've seen this happen have been 80% value 20% bluffs. Clearly, higher stakes players have different tendencies.

This hand is a great example on why most people are and will always stay breakeven in poker. Best players fold preflop

There is this type of player in omaha, who never valuebet nuts on the flop; Only bluffs on certain boards. Thats a very important note to have a on a player. Worth a lot of money, dont miss them and if You have this leak Yourself, fix it asap. Players like me can create a whole portfolio of exloitable situations from a single note like that. Its like forfitting a queen in chess.

I love your videos and I love your poker philosophy. But, in Michigan usually none of these strategies work. In charity poker rooms and home games you are almost always four to five-handed on every single flop. It doesn't matter if you raise it to 10 or 40. So, I have found by just remaining super tight I win long-term.

I think listening to Hero explain the opponent’s mannerisms in this one makes ALL the difference here. Checking quickly on both flop and turn, then snap-betting the river like that…he’s right, I don’t think it makes a lot of sense. Not saying I’d make that call, but I think he was right to be suspicious given how the hand was played
