I dare someone to watch this beginning to end and tell me this dude isn’t one of the best drummers to ever pick up sticks!

@Russtick92 5 months ago

This guy is absolutely phenomenal. The energy, the feel and the groove are all utterly immaculate. A real technician.

Not me checking drumeo’s channel every day for “Baard Kolstad hears ?? for the first time” 🙏🏻🙏🏻

From Norway like me and that's where the similarities stops. 😆

Baard is one of those players that I can definitely say I have NO IDEA where his skill ceiling is.

Totally unhuman. The most unique, creative, out of forms drumming I have listened in my life. This guy is blessed finding drums in his life and blessing for us listening him.

Doesn’t matter how many times I watch this, I cannot figure out the timing in the outro. Such effortless talent.

The amount of restraint in this is masterful.

After listening to this, I can only think that Drumeo needs to make him play some Jazz

His flow of odd meters is just f'ng insane as well as his dynamics and control. First time I ever saw him was a little over a year ago when he first began the shirtless thing and I honestly thought he was pure cheese.

Then...I listened and was like - f'er don't need a shirt then.

One of the most talented drummers ever in my opinion. His dynamics are beautiful

@Br3576 5 months ago

The dynamics are wild. Hitting the bell on the hi-hat, you don’t see that everyday

Many years ago i remember watching a video called prodigie batteries or something like that. And it was him busking on the street

Baard is the Flea of the Drum world 🤘😎👊

The precision in his movements is absolutely stunning to watch.

I keep coming back to this video as well as binging Leprous. Pretty sure Baard is my new favorite drummer. The high five is the ultimate cherry on top. Love this guy.
