This is easily one of the most chaotic bakes i’ve ever done. Multiplen textures, one muffin, and somehow it actually came together. Would you try it? Should I try a savoury version? Let me know which layer you’d keep or skip. And if you like food experiments, check out the video where I turned every meat I could find into one giant meatball — it’s even more unhinged. Link in the description along with the steps to make the muffin!

Can't beat a pure childlike bit of joy on a dour Tuesday. How about an every texture pizza next?

Thinking a disk of the brittle above the leather would be better for the stability.

I mean this in the nicest way possible but this reminds of that Simpsons episode where Homer builds his own car

As you were making this I kept thinking there is no way that tastes good. I was surprised you liked it.

if you stir sugar while it's boiling it massively increases the risk of the whole thing becoming a solid brick of sugar crystals. when you're going all the way to a darker caramel, it's not such a big deal as these crystals will later melt, but it still increases the risk of burning and can add a slight graininess to the texture.
